Comprehensive (albeit sometimes cynical) narrative of how popular music has been leveraged for British film over the decades. Would've given it 5/5 if it hadn't been for the copious amount of inaccuracies throughout the 'almanac' sections of the book, of which a half-decent editor would've weeded out quite easily.
