I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review.
Part 5 is my favourite edition to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter series to date! I just felt overall, more excitement with this book because Chole is right in the "dragon's den" and it's intense. I'm glad that we finally get to learn more about Chloe's dad Trevor. I loved hearing his background story of how he became a vampire but I can't believe what a diabolical asshole he is. He definitely won't be winning father of the

I am so sad that I have had this book for over a year and it just sat in my Kindle, sadly, waiting for me to open it and read it.

Gah! I am such a crazy person sometimes.

I hate it when I have no idea that a wonderful series is just sitting there, waiting for me to get my act together and start it.

I am so glad that the author nudged me into starting it. If I hadn't who knows how long it would have sat there and I would have been missing out.

I love discovering series that are just fabulous and yet

"The Vampire Hunter's Daughter, Part V" begins shortly after Chloe runs away from the hunters to join her Dad, Trevor. Daddy dearest has basically blackmailed her and she is trying to protect her friends and family. Trevor lives in style, an expansive mansion and Chloe's room is incredible. However, he does not allow her to leave the grounds and they only see each other at dinner.

While residing at the mansion, Chloe continues to train. Her body is getting stronger as well as her fire throwing a

Have I mentioned I just love this serial novel? This installment was amazing. Unlike the previous installments, this one takes over a very long time span. We see Chloe as she adjusts to the changes in her life based on her decision to go with her father, Trevor in an attempt to save the people of her community. I loved seeing Chloe mature as she struggled with things no teen should ever face. Not just the evil vamp stuff, but the fact that her father really is not at all the type of father anyon ...more

This is the 5th installment to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter.

Chloe has left the community to keep her family and friends safe. She gives herself up to Trevor, her father. Over the past year, she has been a prisoner in Trevor's home. No contact with anyone on the outside, unless Trevor brings them in, and she can't leave the grounds. She is trying to make the most of it hoping that she will soon get revenge for her mothers death. Everything is going okay, considering the circumstances, until Chl

Another amazing addition to the series. I couldn't put it down once I started! Until the end you don't know if Trevor is actually trying to be a father, or if he has something else in mind. Several new characters are introduced, one of which is the hot siren, Oscar. Who can resist a man that sings and plays guitar for you?!
I can't wait to read the next part and find out what happens.

I waited anxiously for the 5th installment of The Vampire Hunter's Daughter to be released and I was not disappointed. The plot was clear and concise and left me, as usual, wanting to read more. I absolutely can't wait for the 6th installment to publish. I hope Jennifer doesn't leave me hanging too long!

Part five resolves the end of part four with a pleasing mix of action and introspection as Chloe learns more about herself and her father and, more importantly, more about her feelings. Another satisfying episode in an enjoyable series.

Author Jennifer Malone Wright is definitely at it again, keeping us coming back for more with this installment of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter. Very nicely done I might add too.

I refuse to let this series end!!! *takes a deep breath* this installment is going to be so hard not to give to many spoilers away…. Ughhhh

So much is happening in this installment, covering a longer time frame, but if I were Chloe it would feel one heck of a lot longer!!!!

As hinted in the previous installment, Chloe had made the decision to leave the hunter community and live with Trevor, her vampire father. This decision was made to protect everyone she loves as she can’t bear to lose another loved one. Thrown into another world she knows little to nothing about.

Chloe is surrounded by those she was training to kill know with very little human contact. After a year of living with Trevor and being tutored by one of the two humans she is allowed to have contact wi

Short book=Short review
This is my favorite TVHD book thus far! In this one, we finally find out why Chloe's mother ran away and never went back and why Chloe's so important to the vampire who fathered her. Even though we get to see plenty of twisted, plain creepy vampires, we also get to see some semi-human traits to Trevor, which I loved. This book is definitely worth a read!

This book was intense! So many twists and a few surprises. The ending is such a teaser! I cannot wait to read part 6. I don't want the series to end. I couldn't put the book down I just had to know what happens. Trevor seems like he does care about Chloe but as we find out there is a reason of why he cares for her. In this book we get introduced to new characters. Oscar and Alice are small characters but end up playing a big role I'm just not sure how big of a role yet. In this book we find out ...more

I thought this was a cute story about a young girl with a vampire father and a vampire hunter mother. This makes her quite unusual. Chloe is young and inexperienced. Her mother has hidden her away most of her life and she didn't know anything about vampires or vampire hunters. Her first experience with them is when vampires enter her home and murder her mother in front of her eyes. She then goes to live in the vampire community with her grandfather and a cute guy named Drew. Through out this ser ...more

Part V

Chloe is now a prisoner of her vampire father Trevor. She has decided to do what she can as far as training goes so she will always be ready for a fight, or make her escape. During a dinner party with her father's vampire friends, she discovers part of her father's plans of what he intends to do with her and why he fought so hard to find her. Can Chloe make it out of there before something deathly happens to her? Another visit from Sostrate may hold the answers she needs on getting away.

Wow what a great installment in the series. Deep dark into the vampire realm is so cool. I loved the descriptions of Chloe's room/prison. I knew Trevor was bad news but I thought maybe he would have a softer spot for his child, apparently not. It was thrilling to read and kept me on the edge wondering what would happen next. I can't wait to read part 6 and find out what happens next in Chloe's journey.

I've continued rradin because all 6 books came together in the collection but I have been soo tempted to stop over and over again, especially since it doesn't seem to be getting any better. Again so much of this is summarized or generalized. And now the love triangle heats up again as the finally kiss(come on man, she only 15 years old. If you going on 20 and attracted to a 15 year old, there's something wrong there.)

This was not my favorite book in the series.. As chapters in a normal book it would fit in perfect.. But as a single novel by itself. If you have not read the recent novelles, it´s not impressive. Coz then you will be missing a lot of important information...
But I really like this series. And can´t wait to read the next :D
This story has it all guys, romances, action etc.. :)
