This book alternates between two types of sections. First, a reflection-style essay describes lesson or type of growth to be pursued through meditation in nature. These sections are then followed by a practical decription/guided meditation designed to engender that kind of growth. I love the way he describes being in nature with such detail to make you really relish it when you're out there. It's an important reminder for me to slow down and appreciate the beauty and wildness as a gift ..too often ignored and taken for granted.
