Okay, I'm going to be honest here. (I have no idea why I said that I'm always honest in my reviews!)

The Yotsuba arc is becoming a bit tedious. However, it is absolutely fabulous to watch Light's plan to unfold. (view spoiler)

Also, I really like Wedy and Aiber, I alw

misa being annoying as always but the ending was good.

-Didn't find the Yotsuba arc all that engrossing, the characters were boring and too numerous, and their motivations were uninspired and cliched.

-The investigation L and Light were carrying out was also a little dull and rather repetitive, the investigation was only properly entertaining when Misa was involved.

-L kind of annoyed me in this one, I got tired of him over analysing everything. He irritated me so much that I was actually rooting for Light to outsmart him and get away with eve
The investigations about the new Kira continue, with many twists and a pace that becomes faster. There are less mental games between Light and 'L', thing that appeared a bit too heavy in the recent volumes and I think this book will mark another turning point in the story. There is more space reserved for investigations about Kira and Yotsuba members.

The final part it’s particularly exciting and you can read it in a single breath, with a pace that keep the reader glued up, until an incredible en

Better than volume 5.
It got more intense and I hope it will stay this way till the end.

Jeez, It's almost scary how we predicted this.

That sums up the situation L and Light made to catch "The New Kira." Honestly, except that I didn't feel much absorbed in this volume.

Death Note is something I started because I was recommended it by someone who I value their opinion. But my expectations for this series has not been turning out to what my reaction is while reading it. And don’t take -that as a bad idea, because the series is so much more than I had hoped for.

This series has taken me on a whirlwind of adventure with different characters who all bring something new to every volume. Like mentioned in an earlier review, I felt that the manga might end soon but the

More gripping than the preceding volume. Cannot wait to find out where the story progresses from here.
OMG, that was the most interesting part! And Misa was not so bad in it, too. L is going to be diabet if he keeps eating soooo much sugar like that)) He is even cuter now^^ And Light. .Oh Light, you demon! I am so excited to see what will happen... I hope nothing happens to L.)

This one got really intense, especially towards the end. I guessed who Kira was in the previous volume (I had my suspicions), but other than that this is probably my second favourite, after the first one.

Meh., it was boring UNTIL THE FREAKING END. I mean....holy balls!!!!!!

This Yotsuba story arc was stretched for way too long. I've never taken this much time to complete a volume in my life. It also doesn't help when you got characters like Misa and her dreadful personality to torture you occasionally.

There was also something a bit disturbing in how much nitpicking goes on in everyone's plans, especially L and Light and how they dissect everything. I sometimes felt like they overexposed things that could have been left to the reader to analyze.

Yours truly,

it was boring for a while in the corporate world...
But... then came the news channel telecast and created a lot of high tension suspense.

Loving it yet again!

No matter whatever happens.... I will read it till the last volume now.
On to the next volume immediately.

Summary of Vol. 1;

“The name of the human who is written in this note shall die.”

Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects - and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami, a death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send the legendary detective L to

- It's getting better! The suspense is definitely up!

- L and Light make a great team. It is too bad they were destined to be enemies.

- Misa is pretty clever, but also pretty dumb. I can't figure her out.

- Rem is a girl!?!?!?

- I have a feeling that Light and Misa are going to get their Death Note's back.

- I like Wedy; she is really cool.

- Sometimes the art changes style, and I don't know why.

The last two chapters in this volume were particularly exciting, especially in a series that spends so much time in the characters' heads.

xD Really Amazed

There was once a moment I almost fealt like reading Sherlock and Moriarty Chasing each other when they are side by side all along ...
Light is really up to something by before that Ryuuzaki is even better than any one I don't know why at some point there is a slightest possibility that of they are at par with each other

Before I didn't like Misa around she is another annoying character like others but after her actions now seems like she is my favorite as she in indeed intel

I'm in the process of reading the entire Death Note series...rereading first several volumes (which I had read a few years ago), and then picking up with those volumes I hadn't read. This volume, and parts of the previous, has the storyline taking a less engaging turn, I feel. Nonetheless, by the end of this current volume, there's the promise of yet another that I find interesting. I'm not sure that Light/Kira and L working together was the most enjoyable part of the series so far.

Still kind of a filler volume, but it's definitely an improvement over the last one.

I'm not that into the Yotsuba-Arc, but these chapters are definitely the most exciting ones out of it!
