Although they've collected plenty of evidence tying the seven Yotsuba members to the newest Kira, Light, L and the rest of the task force are no closer to discovering which one actually possesses the Death Note. Desperate for some headway, L recruits Misa to infiltrate the group and feed them information calculated to bring Kira into the open. But the Shinigami Rem reveals ...more

AHHHH THAT ENDING. Like excuse me but you cannot end a book like that. *hyperventilates quietly in the back row* OKAY! So I'm still vaguely dissatisfied with this one, but the next one promises to be BRILLIANT. Here I am. Still at Death Note's mercy and not even sad.

MY RANDOM THOUGHTS WHILST READING:

• It still amuses me how L holds things. Like always with the very tips of his fingers like he doesn't like touching things. He is so adorable. And also how he sits.
• And also how sometimes he and Li

THIS VOLUME WAS SO INTENSE OMG WHY DON'T I OWN THE NEXT ONE UGH

The investigations about the new Kira continue, with many twists and a pace that becomes faster. There are less mental games between Light and 'L', thing that appeared a bit too heavy in the recent volumes and I think this book will mark another turning point in the story. There is more space reserved for investigations about Kira and Yotsuba members.

The final part it’s particularly exciting and you can read it in a single breath, with a pace that keep the reader glued up, until an incredible en

-Didn't find the Yotsuba arc all that engrossing, the characters were boring and too numerous, and their motivations were uninspired and cliched.

-The investigation L and Light were carrying out was also a little dull and rather repetitive, the investigation was only properly entertaining when Misa was involved.

-L kind of annoyed me in this one, I got tired of him over analysing everything. He irritated me so much that I was actually rooting for Light to outsmart him and get away with eve

Death Note is something I started because I was recommended it by someone who I value their opinion. But my expectations for this series has not been turning out to what my reaction is while reading it. And don’t take -that as a bad idea, because the series is so much more than I had hoped for.

This series has taken me on a whirlwind of adventure with different characters who all bring something new to every volume. Like mentioned in an earlier review, I felt that the manga might end soon but the

OMG, that was the most interesting part! And Misa was not so bad in it, too. L is going to be diabet if he keeps eating soooo much sugar like that)) He is even cuter now^^ And Light. .Oh Light, you demon! I am so excited to see what will happen... I hope nothing happens to L.)

This one got really intense, especially towards the end. I guessed who Kira was in the previous volume (I had my suspicions), but other than that this is probably my second favourite, after the first one.

Summary of Vol. 1;

“The name of the human who is written in this note shall die.”

Light Yagami is an ace student with great prospects - and he's bored out of his mind. But all that changes when he finds the Death Note, a notebook dropped by a rogue Shinigami, a death god. Any human whose name is written in the notebook dies, and now Light has vowed to use the power of the Death Note to rid the world of evil. But when criminals begin dropping dead, the authorities send the legendary detective L to

- It's getting better! The suspense is definitely up!

- L and Light make a great team. It is too bad they were destined to be enemies.

- Misa is pretty clever, but also pretty dumb. I can't figure her out.

- Rem is a girl!?!?!?

- I have a feeling that Light and Misa are going to get their Death Note's back.

- I like Wedy; she is really cool.

- Sometimes the art changes style, and I don't know why.

The last two chapters in this volume were particularly exciting, especially in a series that spends so much time in the characters' heads.

An improvement when compared to the previous volume. I am now hopeful that some crazy twist is about to come up, since there has been a dramatic turn of events!

The first 3/4 of this volume were unbelievably boring I even began counting how many pages were left WHICH is not a pretty good sign, I think this volume is the worst out of the whole series (hopefully) I don't even know how I managed finishing reading it.
However, the plan at the end was really exciting and I enjoyed it -thank god-. But I'm not really happy about how this turned out anyway

Ahhhhh!!!
This one had me on the edge of my seat. I didn't know what the hell was going to happen one minute from the next. A lot of shit went down here and whew how are they ever going to top this!?

The power these people have with the notebook and how they use it are the craziest parts.

I'm having a freak out here and I need to hunt down the next volume.....

Misa-Misa has the satisfaction of hitting the nail on the head: "Ugh ... there are so many rules ... don't you get annoyed?"

But Volume 6 has the most exciting ending. It's left me questioning my earlier decision not to bother with this series anymore.

I really hate L BTW. Dad's also quite annoying.

Tak, mám fakt supr pocit, že tu mám na poličce úplně všechny díly <3. I tohle bude tak epický, že samo slovo epický není dost epický!

While the series is still good, during this volume, it feels like it is coasting a bit.

Sure, the story develops, but not very much. And where it does develop, it is mostly the characters going over the same old stuff from the last five. Nothing much new is really happening.
