A concise introduction and indepth player's guide to the black sheep of the Halo family.

Piggyback's guide to Halo 2 is small but concise and interesting. Its design effectively mirrors the threadbare militarism of the game, and offers plenty of screenshots and action sequences to guide the player through the narrative of the story.

Excellent lore-building info on your enemies, each of your weapons and vehicles, and more is also included and much appreciated. Facts about the timeframe of the story help to flesh out a world that you would otherwise only see a glimpse of.

While the guide is small compared to other first person shooters of today, it is fully packed with information and a wonderful campaign section. Perhaps somewhat debilitating is the modern lack of multiplayer, but the section in the guide was second to none during its time, and is worth a read if only for remembrance of better days in multiplayer.

Recommended for Halo fans and those of the FPS genre.
