Summary:
“Ellie in the Fall,” is a picture book about the season fall. On every page Ellie is exploring and watching her surroundings. Each page is filled with something new as Ellie walks through her lawn. Ellie gets to experience a little bit of the cool weather and have fun while learning.

Audience:
This book is targeted for toddlers, preschoolers, and even kindergarten. Boys and girls can read this exciting book and learn about the season fall. This book can also come in handy to those children who live where the climate doesn’t vary and they don’t experience fall weather.

Appeal:
This is a good fit for children of all kinds because the book can teach a child about weather and what happens during that time of the year. This book is perfect to explain to children why the tree leaves fall and why weather becomes cold.

Implementation:
I could use this book in my lesson plans. As an elementary teacher, this book would be a great introduction to children in teaching about the four different seasons, starting off with fall.
