I'm a long-term science fiction fan who has worked on:
- Numerous short stories as you can tell from my first collection "Tales From A Yellow Star".
- Created map packs for the Half-Life video game that include "Fallback" along with "Fallback, Fire, and Ice", along with other map packs.
- Created numerous shareware titles including "Quenzar's Caverns" way back when shareware was relevant.

Short story/ prelude to a series by this author, setting the background for the series involving alien invasion of the earth. The aliens have combat robots, forcing the earth based military to develop a human piloted combat robot to combat the threat.

This prelude is fast paced and through the action-oriented combat scenes, the author establishes the background for the coming series.

Interesting short story, entertaining read.
