Sequel to Ambush Zeke Roswell and Miles Winter met as business enemies, when Miles acquired Zeke's precious but neglected art gallery. And then things changed. Over time, they were thrown together as mismatched-and very reluctant-partners, until their attraction grew stronger than any argument. Even if Miles did protest the other night when Zeke cuffed him to his office fi ...more

The idea of payback, just like ambush, can have a negative connotation, but when the payback involves mutual satisfaction, it is hard to think of it as anything but positive.

When Miles of 'Payback' by Clare London, decides to pay his lover Zeke back for pleasurably torturing him, he does so with only a grace which Miles possesses. Instead of using physical restraint to prove his point, Miles intimidates Zeke, but in a positive way. Miles uses the skills which have made him so successful in busin

This is the third installment of the story of Zeke and Miles. Zeke is an artist who met businessman Miles when Miles was buying Zeke’s failing art gallery. They turn out to be a case of opposites attracting, and have been together for a while. At one point (in book two), Zeke deliciously “tortured” Miles in his office and Miles promised, yes, Payback. This short story is the scene in which Miles exacts his revenge. Telling Zeke there is an important meeting at

This sizzling hot short story is a sequel to Ambush (reviewed here), which is itself a sequel to London's 2009 novel True Colors , but you really don't need to have read the original novel as everything you need to know about Zeke and Miles is recapped in the first third of Ambush.

Payback is one of those rare sequels that has actually enhanced my memories

Clare London should be ashamed of herself! Really! But I have to admit that keeping me addicted to two of my favorite characters is really one addiction I love to have! It’s no secret that I’ve adored the two main heroes in Payback, Miles and Zeke, ever since Ms. London gifted us with the first book in the series, True Colors. Both heroes are very sexy and they always have a very creative way of making the spark of attraction between them change into a roaring fire. Whew! After reading

This time, Miles gave Zeke a "payback/punishment" for his little "mischief" in the prequel. Miles the control freak, believed that Zeke need to learn who exactly the one in control. Lol.

It was short, only 31 pages. Forgot to rate it in GR when I finished it this morning.
I adored this idiot couple and somehow in the middle of Miles' payback for Zeke, both guys reminded me of Iwaki and Katou from Embracing Love/Haru wo Daite Ita in one particular unforgettable lovemaking scene, hence the reason

Sequel to Ambush this short story is another glimpse into the hot relationship between reserved, controlling businessman Miles Winter and temperamental artist Zeke Roswell. When Zeke ambushed Miles at his office and had his way with him, Miles promised payback. This short is Miles sexy answer to Zeke’s challenge. These men are so hot together! In addition to the great sex, I enjoyed seeing their feelings deepen and their relationship get even closer by the end of this short story. Well done and ...more

Miles sets up a legal meeting with Zeke at his office but it turns out to be just for the two of them. Zeke is given some explicit instructions and then the fun begins.
