Jeg havde ingen idé om, hvad denne handlede om. Men det var Jürgensen, og da jeg en dag havde brug for en kort lydbog, puttede jeg denne i ørerne. Hvilket var et virkelig godt valg. Jeg nød i hvert fald bogen en del, også selvom den var så kort, som den er.

Bogen virkede meget sammenhængende, og jeg følte, bogen udviklede sig ret godt – især hvis man tænker på den korte længde. Jeg følte i hvert fald, at bogen var en del længere, hvilket virkelig var positivt. Jeg var nemlig en smule nervøs for,

En cool omend lidt fortænkt lille bog, som giver et tidligt varsel om Dennis Jürgensens krimi aspirationer. Skakmetaforerne bliver en anelse overbrugte, men den lidt gyseragtige stemning og gode fremdrift i fortællingen er klassisk og umiskendeligt Jürgensen, der har en helt særlig måde at sætte egne universer op, på ganske kort tid.
