The legendary video game character Spyro the Dragon—star of the Skylanders universe—is featured in this first in a series of 80-page handbooks, which focus on all the elemental Skylander tribes and their unique and mystical characters.
So Gabe and I got ourselves Skylanders for Christmas. Just for use. We don't have kids. And we got it because it's cute and there are collectible dudes! I admit that I love the game. I've levelled most of my dudes to 8+ Anyway, I was excited when this came across my desk. I think I was expecting backstory and maybe neat little hints and tips for the magic and tech dudes. That is NOT what this is. I'm not sure what this is, actually. Gabe calls it marketing - slapping a bunch of screenshots and some words together and callig it a book so kids will buy it. I learned nothing, the stories made no sense, and I was all around put out by the whole thing. My dudes didn't like it, either.
It showed details of what happened in the past but didn't tell it in the story very well. I dislike it because it didn't describe lightening bolt the same as described in other skylander books.
