I am Sailor Moon! I stand for love. And I also stand for justice. And in the name of the Moon, I will punish you!

Everything began with Sailor Moon. The age of the animes and mangas and the age of female heroins transforming into warriors for justice and love. Now we know several series like Pretty Cure or Tokyo Mew Mew, but everything started with Sailor Moon and her adventures.
She finds the cat Luna who helps her to transform into Sailor Moon and step by step the two of them find the othe

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon...what an amazing manga/anime series!! When I was a little kid, I would watch the 1990's anime (that was dubbed by 4Kids Entertainment) every morning before the school bus came to pick me up for school, but I never read the actual manga until I hit my teen years. Like most manga, this renewed manga series tells a more developed and dark storyline of Sailor Moon. To be honest, before reading this series I never thought I could love Sailor Moon anymore than I already di ...more

Hermoso y emocionante último volumen.
Es la batalla más épica y desoladora que ha tenido Sailor Moon hasta ahora, y a pesar de todo la fe y la esperanza jamás se pierden.

Bellísimo final, voy a extrañar este manga.

When I was little (comparatively speaking) I had read the final volume of Sailor Moon and had no idea what was going on. After rereading it as an adult, with a new, definitely better translation, I'm still going, "Wait, what did I just read?"

It's not that it's bad. It's just really, really confusing. I'm not sure what's going on. Wasn't back then, still not sure now.

I think part of the problem is that ending is kinda rushed. There's a lot of "Okay, moving on," in Sailor Moon in general, but this

I can't believe it's over!! The ending was so sad ç__ç (but in a good way)

I absolutely LOVED this manga! I've always been a fan of the anime and at first I was a bit skeptical about reading this... but I'm so glad I did it, because it was totally worth it! And I ended up liking the manga better than the anime, because it was more fast-paced and there weren't any fillers. And then the characters and their growth, relationships, battles, everything was great *___*

I'm not sure I fully got the ending to this. I mean, it was a good ending, but I was just left a bit confused. Still such a ridiculously amazing series full of so much heart.

AND I AM DONE.
DONEEEEEEEEEEE.
SO MUCH DONE.

WAIT. There are 2 short stories books? Oh, huh. YAYYYYYYYYY. XD

... I'll be back to do a proper review of the entire series. When I'm done sobbing, I mean.

It's half a week later now and I've calmed down a bit. So I'm back with a proper review, as promised.

I've already done my post of nostalgia and things I owe to Sailor Moon in the first volume, so I'll save you from repetition. Just a little warning that if you're reading this to get an insightful and objective review of the series, eh, move

i don't think this is one of the series best volumes but it's a pretty solid ending. one of the problems was that there were way too many new characters and no time spent with the sailor scouts that we'd seen developed and care for. chibi-chibi was the only one that really managed to get a reaction out of me and that's due to the (view spoiler) ...more

Wowza! What an incredible ending!

It made me happy and it made me sad at the same time.

The ending of this big, great series was amazing, but I was still so sad that it was really the end.

I think all I can do now is watch Sailor Moon Crystal, right? ;)

What I especially liked about this Volume:
- the story behind the Three Lights and all of the other planets and sailor fighters
- Sailor Galaxia
- Sailor Moon's endless strength that still was authentic as she had to grow so much throughout the story

And so we reach the end of the Sailor Moon manga series (excluding the two short story manga collections being released later this year).

When I first read this volume years ago as a scanlation (bad I know) and saw the series finale of the anime I thought this was a really sweet ending - Usa and Mamoru end up together, the definitive evil was defeated and all was well for the future. I've only watched the anime finale once but from what I recall it ended with the same. The manga is more bitterswe

This is the end of one of my favorite manga series. And I loved it, of course, even when I could see some faults in the storytelling. The ending was rushed and a little confusing (which could be because of the very literal translation) and there were a lot of characters. I didn't keep count, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were nearly 20 characters in the grand finale scene. And yet, I still adored it. The art is probably the best from the entire series, and I loved what we got in volume on ...more

There are so many great quotes in this volume I won't number them all.

Just... wow. Everything - how it all could and should end - is here.

Chaos! Cosmos! Heavenly bodies! Evil Sailor Guardians! I enjoyed every ounce of it. Why did it take me so long to express it until now?

It has always been about Sailor Moon, the Pretty Guardian in a sailor suit. She is the star. She is the hero. The manga finale reaffirms this: She alone can save the universe, and this time without her loved ones and companions

Sailor Moon makes the ultimate sacrifice after losing everything, her friends, her family, and her life. But Chibi-Chibi has a secret power that may help Sailor Moon to conquer her enemies once again!

Time travel muddies up the plot AGAIN. Seriously, how many time travelling plot holes can there be before the structure of the story falls apart?
I really loved how the Sailor Guardians from previous books are all united in this last book, and we see some other side characters make an appearance alo

The End! Well, sort of. There's two mini-volumes left, but the main storyline is now complete and I don't know whether to be happy or to cry, because it was such an emotional roller coaster.

I'm still kind of confused about Sailor Cosmos's role, and the whole time-traveling thing in general. (Time-travel is actually my biggest pet peeve in plots, and there's a lot of it in Sailor Moon. Like. Tons of it. But it's Sailor Moon, so I make an exception.) Her costume is pretty rad though.

I was really disappointed with the translation of this volume. The previous volumes all seemed okay as far as translation, but I really got annoyed with the overuse of shortened versions of 'because' and 'okay'. It is not necessary to say 'cuz' every time Sailor Moon speaks. Honestly, the way it is worded made me think I was listening to the words of some street smart gang-banger and not Sailor Moon/Usagi.

Also, the overuse of the term 'heavenly body' and the translation at the very end were just

It's bittersweet to reach the end. I'm sad to see the last of these characters, but at the same time the story was feeling drawn out and recycled so I felt the end was necessary. I really did not enjoy the Sailor Stars arc. We had too little time actually getting to know them and they were only around for a few acts before disappearing even though the final acts were still part of the Stars arc. I will say that the transitions between panels improved in this volume; it was more clear to me what ...more

First, this one kind of let me down a bit. I never did figure out if "Chibi Chibi" or Sailor Cosmos was Sailor moon, or a descendant or just a friend. Cuz she's got Pink hair. And I'm not really sure if Sailor Moon is the temporary Sailor Cosmos either...

Waking up in bed with Mamoru was adorable. They never did indicate the passage of time though... So I don't know if they got back to Earth and then he was like "Marry Me" and then they had wild sex or if it was just something that happened in th

Oh Lord!! Finished Sailor Moon manga FINALLY!! I've been getting the reissued volumes once they release and one by one. I even remember starting my first volume back in September 2011 right after I finished the anime.
Just like many of the volumes I missed many things and dialogue points or art were not clear but I got used to it. I've praised the previous volumes to be dark but this one was just weird!
Thing is the final arc is almost NOTHING like the anime. Anime intended for the series to ha
