Warning this review is very sarcastic, contains very mild spoilers & it basically just gifs..

It all starts out with a road trip to New Orleans, where Allie & Jess are working for the summer.

Jess is a bit of an airhead.. constantly drooling after guys..
Allie seems to find it all a bit

Then something happens with Jess & she ditches Allie to run back home.. great friend..

Allie & Levi hang out, get close.. he always has something to hide, always hold back.. yet she falls for him, leaving me askin

This was my first audio book and I feel like it was a total waste! Not only did the narrator sound like a robot, our leading lady is an absolute bitch! 1 & half stars.

It all starts with two best friends (Allie & Jess) on a road trip to New Orleans to Allie's dad's hotel, Jess ends up going home for a stupid reason, Allie stays for a guy but makes out it isn't because of him. Ends up in a sticky situation which I still don't understand why...

Allie acts like a super bitch to everyone, not only at
WOW loved this! Another favourite to add to the long growing list. This year has been one of the best book-wise. I loved Levi and Allies banter and how she played hard to get and always had something to say and they challenged each other. It's like Levi didn't know how to handle her because no one had ever not melted into a puddle at his feet and done everything he asked and Allie and him were perfect together because she wouldn't let him intimidate her.
Man he was gorgeous! I also loved Hailey,

Maybe I missed a memo somewhere. Are all paranormal romance books 15% paranormal and 85% romance? It sure seems like it after the last few I’ve read, and I can’t say I like the trend. Flight is no different. While there are paranormal elements sprinkled in and some of the main characters are paranormal in nature, the feel of the book is almost entirely that of a YA/New Adult romance. Now don’t get me wrong, I’m perfectly fine with reading romance books, though I prefer to know how heavily those ...more

Allie starts Princeton in the fall so she wants one last adventurous summer away from her ex-boyfriend. Allie and her friend Jess decide to work at her dad's hotel in New Orleans. Jess is a bit boy crazy and immediately wants to check out the New Orleans night life and eye candy while Allie wants to stay boy free. They meet Levi and his friends who are more than happy to show them a good time. Jess ends up deciding she wants to head home and Allie's
*I gave this Audiobook a C- for the book content and B+ for the narration at AudioGals*

Flight, the first book in the Crescent Chronicles, is a Young Adult paranormal romance. As is typical of Young Adult romances, the intimate scenes are very tame and could easily be appropriate for listeners of junior high age on up. Additionally, the plot is mostly focused on the paranormal world and coming of age of issues, once again making this title suitable for almost all ages of romance readers.

I really enjoyed Flight and I'm super excited to see how the story will continue in the second book!!!
The only thing I complain is that Allie pissed me sometimes she just keeps shutting Levi down admittedly he does something majorly wrong to her at the end of the book but I still was frustrated with Allie for the way she handled the situation.

What an excellent, exciting book. I enjoyed it all. This was an Audible book and the narrator was awful. There was just something about the way she talked. It drove me nuts.

Many spoilers...sorry.

I did not like this book.
Unfortunately this was not for me, maybe I am the wrong age group or perhaps I was swayed by my dislike of chauvinistic, cavemen badboys.

This was a book about a girl who falls into the world of 'were-crows' while she is on a working holiday at her mega rich fathers hotel in New Orleans. Allie is smart, apparently, and she is not adverse to danger while at the same time remaining sensible and after a string of bad choices has decided to hate men...S

Reading it with Alisa! :) yay!!! Had a huge head start for this cause she's a pretty fast robot. :O So I put off my other CR for this one! :) I hope this one is good! I don't really read the blurbs anymore. Um, yeah, cover snob. :o

4.5 stars.

Flight is an easy to read book. Just like the title, the flight is relatively easy, good and fast. I totally enjoyed it. I actually thought it'll be about werewolves since it was shelved in that category but NO, it was NOT about WEREWOLVES perse. It is about

Allie thought spending the summer at her father's new hotel working would be the perfect opportunity to get acclimated to living on her own before college at Princeton started up that fall. She also thought she would be spending that summer man less. That is until she walks into her father’s hotel and locks eyes with a gorgeous guy. Yep, who was she kidding? Her summer was about to get a whole lot interesting.

I don't know how to rate it.

There were some big mistakes in the book some more beta reading could have avoided (transition missing. Example: they tell Alex and Tobby they won't see Levi and co anymore and next page, new chapter they're all doled up to go outside with them without any hint it would happen or they've been contacted or...).

I could not read/feel Levi at all. He obviously is hot but I can't go in his head and had not any clue he was so serious about her. Alli is also hard to read an

I loved Allie's attitude even though she like attracted to Levi she fights knowing when she was lied and betrayed too..though levi is hot n yummy...i was sad to see he lied to allie like that..and i think anyone would have reacted like Allie..i was seriously pissed and angry but oh well i also want to see how he woos her back and makes her to his side!It was definitely a fun read!
I just hope everything goes good in next book :)

The moment that I saw the book cover for Flight by Alyssa Rose Ivy, I knew I had to read this book. Within the first page I was completely pulled into the story and I could not put it down until I reached the end.

Because of the title, Flight, I immediately thought that the book was going to be about angels and I was happily surprised to find out that Alyssa Rose Ivy had come up with a new and interesting paranormal creature that is all her own.

In Flight you follow Allie as she heads down to New

I did a cover reveal for Flight and when I read the blurb I knew I had to read it. Lord was I not disappointed! Flight takes place in New Orleans and if any of you know New Orleans is beautiful. Hurricane Katrina tore it apart but the folks put it back together and most of the historic district was saved. While reading flight I kept picturing certain places in my mind and I am so glad I had those extra visuals because this book had me hooked from the very beginning.

I'm flying right now!!

I mean...WOW!!! Flight's so much more than I've looking for yet expected from it. I even barely remember the sysnopsis before I started read it. Maybe I wanted something that unexpected without even peeking for it.

And yeah this is paranormal romance story I've never had read before. Alyssa has brought me into a new story of the paranormal world and I believe this also an epic paranormal story even though there were more bout romances than the paranormal elements as I though

Three Stars: An interesting paranormal read with a lackluster romance.

Allie is excited to settle into her summer job at her father's hotel in New Orleans before heading off to Princeton in the fall. Allie plans to enjoy her summer with her best friend without any romantic entanglements since she has sworn off guys. Her resolve is immediately tested when she catches the eye of a handsome stranger at the bar when she enters the hotel. Levi is handsome and charming and hiding a big secret. Will All

I really (almost) wish I hadn't started this book.

Why you ask?

Because, it is going to be an awful long wait until the next one is out and that, well, that just makes me sad. I didn't want this one to end.

I wasn't ready for it to be over. I want more. More Levi, more Allie, Hailey, Owen, Jared. more of the story.

What happens next? Do they make it? Where does their story go from here?

So yeah, needless to say, I fell in love with the characters, the writing, the story, the whole thing.

Allie has just graduated and is about to start college. When her father invites her to spend the Summer working at his hotel in New Orleans, she jumps at the chance, partly to have some fun before college, and partly to get away from her ex-boyfriend. Allie drags her best friend off to New Orleans, determined to keep boys out of the picture. Then she meets Levi…Can she resist his charm and is she strong enough to handle the secret world he is involved in?

What an interesting story

Alyssa Rose Ivy has written an interesting shifter story. Levi is an intriguing character right from the start but at the same time, you can sort of guess what is going to happen. But you never really know for sure.

Psycho Selfish Male lead

The writing is really good and the book is a fast read. Levi, the main male character is horrid though. Like creepy stalker , "You" kind of guy. I don't care if he is sex on a stick, never.

This is a very vague summary of the book that really doesn’t do the book justice. Luckily, this tag line “Sometimes you just have to take flight.” Caught my attention. Not to mention that gorgeous smoking hot cover!

Allie takes her dad’s offer to work in his new hotel in New Orleans. To her, this is the perfect way to spend the summer with her best friend, Jess, before starting college later that year. After her latest lacking relationship sh

Flight is the first book in The Crescent Chronicles by Alyssa Rose Ivy.

From the moment I saw Flight and read an excerpt, I was anxious to get a hold of it but unfortunately it didn’t fully live up to my high expectations.

The main protagonist Allie has her life planned out, she would attend Princeton, study business and follow in her fathers footsteps but it wasn’t what her heart wanted; it was something she was doing for her parents, when an opportunity arose for her to work in New Orleans at he
