I loved the first book in the Wiccan Haus series, so I was very excited to see this book released. Unlike the first book, which focused on one of the Wiccan Haus employees, this book focused on two of their guests and really immersed itself in the Fantasy Island type feel I was hoping this series was going to retain. This story focuses on Justin, who ends up at Wiccan Haus as a last hope for recovering from an injury and saving his job and Holly, his ex-girlfriend, who decides he is worth fighti ...more

Justin Lawson is a military man who fights against rogue and dangerous Paras. When he's shot by "friendly" fire, his knee is shattered and he goes off to the Wiccan Haus for rest, relaxation, and healing. 72 hours after being shot and his military career destroyed, he breaks up with his girlfriend Holly via text. How crass!! Holly's not going to take that lying down - she finds out where he is and goes there to confront him. But can she accept the truth of Paras and of Justin's love?

I loved this book as much as the first one!

I wasnt sure if it was going to work having different authors for each installment, but Sara brings just
as much excitment as Dominique does in the first book.

Totally reccomend this series but be warned it's diffinately adults only

Well done Sara on an excellent addition to the Wiccan Haus family :-)

Let’s see, what qualities did A Man Worth Fighting For have…stupid man logic, magic, angst, sex, paranormals, suspense, action, more sex and surprisingly humans?!?!

A Man Worth Fighting For is book two in the Wiccan Haus collection. These are great short stories revolving around the Wiccan Haus Resort and Spa located off the coast of Maine. It is a special place for paranormals and humans alike; a place to go for spiritual and emotional healing.

This I just the kind of place that Justin needs aft

I laughed so hard reading this, which was perfect after reading some books that were intense and a couple that were dense (but useful). Much of my teaching over the years has been with toddlers so the title appealed to me right off. I also hoped to learn something.

The author, Dais, is not a child development specialist nor does she have training. She is a mother of two so her knowledge is hands-on and hard won. She supplements her anecdotes with some from a group of women she calls Mothe

***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review

The cover is okay, but nothing screams paranormal that would grab my attention. It does have the sexy military man on the cover though :)

This is the 2nd book in the Wiccan Haus series. It is a novella about 90 pages long. It is definitely for adults only due to the steamy content. You do not have to read the books in order to understand or enjoy the book because they are standalone. And j

Just posted this on Amazon.

I was given this book for free in exchange for an honest review. As I’ve said before, I always give honest reviews whether people appreciate them or not. This is the republishing of the second book of the Wiccan Haus Series now from Decadent Publishing. Wiccan Haus is on an island off the coast of Maine and it is magically protected with a thick fog around is, and a magical boundary beneath the surface as well. It’s kind of a paranormal spa yet they do have regular hum

A Man Worth Fighting For (Wiccan Haus, #2)
by Sara Daniel

I love the Wiccan Haus series. So many colorful characters and there is always something going on. Some of the residents are so serious and others are very carefree. Wiccan Haus sounds like somewhere I would love to go and I can in each of these stories.

Justin Lawson is basically a loner, but he loves his job. It is his life, it defines him. Relationships aren't for him. The occasional night in Holly's bed is just fine for him. His special-

I don’t have any experience reading a series where every book is not written by the same author, so I wasn’t sure what to expect compared to the first book. I was pleasantly surprised! The setting felt consistent with what was set up in book 1, and the staff from the first one were present and still rang authentic. We even get a few cameo appearances from Mr. sexy were-tiger himself, Rekkus, from the first one.

Now in this story, Justin gets hurt on a mission and the person that did it is still a

WOW, A Man Worth Fighting For is a favorite of mine in this series. I love a military hero but when we get a heroine that refuses to let her love walk away, even if its because he thinks it would be for her safety. This type of story wins my heart every time. We got a sexy military hero who wants to do right for his woman and we get a woman who is determined to show him she will always be by his side, in good or bad times. Add in the paranormal elements and them

Humans at the Haus.

With Justin's knee shot out he may never work in the army or with the para elite teams again. Can the Wiccan Haus save what's left of his knee or will he be incapacitated for the rest of his life. Oh, did I mention he threw away his love Holly in a text message while he was on his pity potty.

Not one to take a text message blow off, Holly tracks him down to make him face her to break up. Once there, she finds the real reasons he broke it off.

Finding out one of his team was a

Pig headed wounded heroes… do they ever learn?

Having read the first in the Wiccan Haus series, I came prepared to experience a blend of humans and paranormals congregating in a house of healing to soothe their hurts whether spiritual or physical. A Man Worth Fighting For delivers on both counts. There are the regular residents of the Wiccan Haus adding their charismatic characters to the story of course but more importantly, we have the story of a woman going after the man who left her with no w

So even though this is only the second one into this I have prick marks for the pins and needles from waiting for this one. Soon I do believe I will look like a pin cushion the way this will keep going especially after reading this one. This is different than the first one even though eventually they end up at Wicaan Haus. Good to see that they will keep it fresh and exciting but also inviting. In this one you find out what exactly does it mean to have a man worth fighting for and the lengths th ...more

This story is about Holly and Justin and how they were healed - as individuals and as a couple - at Wiccan Haus. If you’re not familiar with the Wiccan Haus series of books, it’s an island off the coast of Maine and is a combination of a spa, healing colony and hotbed of paranormal activity. In other words, it’s an interesting place to be, and to read about.

I really like Holly. She is so much stronger than the thinks she is and that strength radiated from every page. She just needed to discover

Most humans are unaware of the presence of supernaturals but Justin Lawson knows well since he polices them for the military; at least he did till he was wounded on a mission. With a shattered kneecap he is crippled, his career is over, and feeling he has nothing to offer his girlfriend he breaks up with her in a text message (Ouch!). Holly Walters, however is not willing to let him go, she wants closure (at least she thinks that is her reasoning) so she goes to great lengths to track him down a ...more

Holly gets unexpectedly and callously dumped, but she needs closure. She follows Justin to a healing spa for answers.

There was a lot to enjoy in this second novella of the series by an author I haven't read before. Although the hero and heroine are both human, the setting and mix of characters keeps it paranormal (and consistent with the excellent first book, Shifting Hearts), as does the wonderful healing magic. I really appreciated the inclusion of Holly's love being part of that magic, as well as Justin's attitude. They were a great couple. I don't usually like stories where the heroine pursues the hero, bu ...more
