This is a sweet book with simple, appealing illustrations.

The story is about a mother loving her little monster for a range of reasons.

The child in the book is a boy and it does have illustrations of the mother and states 'Mommy loves you all the time'.

I was disappointed that it was spelt 'Mommy' as the description for the book said 'Mama' and used UK english (humourous). But besides that and the unusual choice of pet in the story, I wouldn't say it was aimed at American readers.

Recommends it for: Children

This is a fairly original story. The story itself is alright. There is not really a learning concept here. But the sentiment of the book is universal and true.

I don't know why this has the wrong book cover. This book is about a mother telling her little toddler-aged boy he's the cutest, sweetest, etc. little monster and she always loves him.
Alistair (age 1) really really likes this one so I'm giving it 5 stars.

Simple story and nice illustrations. Would read this again to the kids if they picked it. Not sure I would grab it myself.

Funny, great pictures what a great way to express love for all those wonderful things our children do that sometimes makes us want to rip our hair out.

I love this book. The illustrations are simple and adorable. My son always reaches out to touch the face of the little boy in the book and giggles as we read through it.
