Made me a little uncomfy 🥴. It was like listening to WAP, if that makes sense? It’s also the first time I’ve read m/f in a while I so forgot about the use of “pussy cunt and wet”. It definitely isn’t Avrils best but I don’t think she was trying to make it that. Objectively it was hot but I don’t know man it was making me uncomfs 🤷🏽♀️

I just found Avril is the past month and she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. This books is so HOTT! Her sex scenes are seriously intense.

More like 3.5, but that's just because I'm not a huge fan of keeping it in the family, especially twin brothers. I wish it'd been longer. Cam is a dead sexy bad boy and he and Arden together are fire.

First time reading a book from this author. I definitely will check out her other books. Cam & Adren are two individuals that are hiding behind a mask and it took for them to be together to remove it. I love that she was a strong woman. Great story.

When Clark Mercer decides he’s done with his girlfriend Arden Windham, his twin brother, Cam, resolves to make her his. A stroke of luck helps him when he has to rescue her after she has a flat tire during a storm. Arden feels a little put back with Cam though because he’s served time in prison. Later on, we find out the real reason he served time and it makes you want to hate his twin even more.
It moves quickly for these two to recognize that the two of them really are the same kind of people, they’ve both been held down by family. Each are seeking the love and affection of a parent. When they let their guard down, they realize that they are all they need for one another.
I really liked Cam. He’s just enough of a bad boy to make you want to go out and find one for yourself. Arden is a little bit of the smart ass that every girl wants to be and it makes her very likeable. Even though this is a shorter type book, the author did a very good job in getting the reader a back story so that their motivations are understood.
Immediately there is chemistry between these two. They are the epitome of the word hot! The sex is off the charts! If you like to read yours a little dirty and the words a little raunchy, then this is the book for you! Personally, I would love a second book, I think the author kind of leaves it open for that. Maybe someday?
This is a really good, hot summer read. If you’re at the pool today, I recommend you grab it!

I love love love bad boys and Cameron Mercer (Cam) fit the bill to a tee!!! Tattooed, scars, bad attitude, and the total opposite of everything a good girl should want. Yep...that makes him sex on a stick :) But Cam has a past, one that helped shape him into the man he is today. The only consistency is the burning desire he has for Arden. And now that she is single, he was all about making her his!
Arden felt the heat the first time she had met Clark's fraternal twin brother Cam and steered far away from him. Even though she couldn't explain it, there was just something about him that sent shivers up her spine. Arden was caught completely by surprise at just how deep her feelings could run.
This book was gritty, raw, and down right dirty in some places. It portrayed sex in an animalistic fashion and it was eye-popping. And I loved it!!! The sex scenes were supper hot and Cam was a real life bad-boy. So of course he was going to be gritty and raw. This book had a few plot surprises that changes your attitude towards him, and makes you understand why he is the way he is. But I hope for Arden's sake, he never changes!! Great read!!

The sex in this book was hot! You can't fault that.
The story itself was way too short, characters not developed enough, the relationship went from sex to instant love. Way too quick. This book had a lot of potential if it was longer and the author had more time to really develop it. Arden, for me, came off as too much of a bad ass. There were a few parts where the bitch word should have been directed at her and not others. I didn't really like her that much. Cam I did like. I think this would have been more sexy if she was a good girl he corrupted with his bad boy ways. Wild in the sack but a lady on the outside hiding the inner vixen. Now that really would have been fun watching Cam stalk his prey, her fighting all the way. Talk about the potential for chemistry.
This just confirms for me why I don't like short books. I overlooked that this one wasn't longer.

Yes, the book is hot. But I didn't like the dirty talk all that much... it was too much above the lines. Dirty talk is OK, but in this book the transition from "nice" to "dirty" was too abrupt.
