It’s Shelly Longstaff’s first day on the job as a head gymnastics coach, and already she is being threatened with a lawsuit by the parent of Anna Fortier. Anna isn’t someone a coach wants to train. She has no sense of sportsmanship and pretty much does what she wants. Shelly's program would be Anna's fourth in two years and is her last resort. After reading Rebound, I could not wait to dive into The Perfect Score. This is the story of Shelley Longstaff, whom we meet in Rebound when she works as Claire's assistant as well as being her best friend. Shelley, we know, doesn't believe in love, doesn't want to get married, doesn't want children because she is afraid of loving someone then losing them and not being able to move on because she grew up watching her mother pine for her deceased father.

The first in the series was a great book, but this one by far is my favorite.
It makes me look forward to Tumbling hearts, the third installment in the Love and Balance series.
Shelley is fantastic! I really enjoyed her character, sweet, caring, but tough as nails, she'll have you laughing a few times along the way.

Great job, Ms. Kamryn. This was an awesome read.
