A pretty good summary of the reasons for a whole-foods, plant diet....but the author's desperate attempt to be "hip" and "cool" and connect with a young audience makes the writing so silly and corny and sometimes downright bizarre that it unfortunately hurts the credibility of this arguments (even though they are scientifically accurate). The parts on plant based eating were good. But a little extreme when it got to eliminating nuts. seeds, and grains. I think a healthy diet is a well balanced diet with emphasis on plant based (fruits and veggies)... I don't like when a diet completely eliminates food groups... and somehow I say this being a vegetarian... go figure.

I will write a more thorough review, but in short this was a moralistic argument for becoming vegan wrapped in a thin veneer of science. A lost opportunity as there is good science which - if coupled with solid writing - could be a convincing foundation for a paradigm shift.
