John has a wonderful ability of remixing words and phrases. This long poem is about finding one's identity, while thinking about different sources of exposure and influence, from pop culture to literature. And although I can't relate to some of the references, such as literature, because I'm mostly a non-fiction reader, I can appreciate where John is coming from and enjoy the wordplay.
