I have found another new author that I really love and I"m soaking up all her books. the problem is these girls that we love, they can't write fast enough. Cyrus needs a housekeeper with benefits and Eleanor needs to earn some money to get out of the rule of her grandfather. She's got some experience, but not enough and when she figures out what sex is all about, things really heat up. You'll enjoy this interesting book by Gem Sivad.
Cyrus Burke is searching for a housekeeper who can take care of his sexual needs and doesn’t think Eleanor Lacey will suit because of her “morally upright” look. But he gives her a try when she promises him that she can do it.
“I was married for five years and I’m not unfamiliar with sexual congress.” Pragmatically she added, “Whatever your demands, I will deliver.” Cyrus had a lot of demands and they didn’t come cheap.
Eleanor needs money fast and a place to hide from her grandfather, that’s why she won’t give up to this job. She will stay, no matter what.
He hadn’t said no. Well, actually he had—twice—but she was still here. I will not let a trivial detail get in the way.
After five years of marriage with a man who didn’t worry about destroying her reputation when he wanted a divorce, she needs to be free. And she's decided that owning a pastry shop will allow her to be independent. Yet, she needs to make enough money to open it and working for Cyrus was a way of gaining it.
Mr. Burke was the quintessential male—insufferably arrogant.
Still, she soon falls in love with him.
In little more than a day, Mrs. Lacey had invaded his kitchen, enthralled his crew, claimed his house and mesmerized his cock.
And very soon she makes him think about marriage, something no woman managed before her.
I loved the book!!! Perfect for lovers of historical romance, it's a book you can read over and over again with the same delight and pleasure. 5 stars.
PINCH OF NAUGHTY was an unexpected delight! I must have missed it in the blurb, but I wasn’t expecting a Historical Western Romance, but that is exactly what I got and I really enjoyed it.
Eleanor Lacey got shafted in the love department. So, when she is forced to flee her hometown in the wake of a scandal, she decides that hooking up with Cyrus Burke, the richest man in the state of Texas, is a good idea. Although she comes from a reputable family, she has taken a position as the maid, cook and bed partner to the man of the house. Cyrus is everything you would expect – he’s gruff, suspicious and demanding and he’s not looking for a wife because they are good for nothing that he doesn’t already have access to in his life. Eleanor isn’t like any of the other housekeepers he has employed in the past and this little fact has Cyrus more and more intrigued every day. She is sassy and spunky and has no time for love, so they are on the same page in that department. So, watching the love-resistant pair fall for each other was incredibly entertaining.
If you are looking for a quickie that burns up the sheets, then, PINCH OF NAUGHTY might be the novella for you!
I’ve read Western romances before but this one held an unexpected surprise with a more modern-minded woman and a more sensual-minded man. Put the two together in an arranged setting and the sparks fly. Here’s what I like the most: The woman was not a virgin (as is the case in most that I’ve read) and she willingly agreed to enter into a contract to take care of a man’s needs and actually goes through with it with hardly any trepidation. How often do you see that in a Western? Never. At least I never have. The combination was exciting and fresh, and I loved the chemistry between the couple. I could NOT stop reading this story.
I was given this book as as part of a challenge and I am so happy to read a new author who knows how to add a little fun to a story. This book is a mix of old school western meets saasy woman who wants to be independent. Just when you think that is all that it is there is more. It was a very quick read and I will lokk for more from this author!~!!
Pinch of Naughty was my first steamy book, but it turned out to be a great read! Both of the main characters are stubborn in their own ways, but I ended up loving both of them and their relationship by the end of it! Pinch of Naughty is great for a reader looking for something different!
Rate it as 4 stars because it is HOT, I mean like HOT HOT If you read the description the hero wants a full time housekeeper even for night duty....so with a description like that...it should be HOT

What did I like? I have read a number of books by this author and every time I do I'm impressed. She can turn out books that are so easy to read and make you want to finish them all in one sitting. She can take as the title says a pinch of naughty and turn it on its ear with a great story.
What will you like? A story line that is completely believable and will hook you from the first page on. You can tell that she has taken care with every moment that she writes about, the terms, the time line and the characters. Every situation is carefully detailed with the perfect explanations to catch your interest and not let go of it. You will find every detail has been carefully researched from the clothing, the language and for the period. If a touch or pinch of naughty is on your wanted reading list don't let this one get away from you. Join us in a enjoyable evening.
2.5 stars. The beginning of the book jumps straight into things without much character backstory or development, which made me feel like I accidentally started reading several chapters into the storyline. While this was a quick, steamy read I just wish there was more of a real plot.
I received this book for free via Goodreads Giveaways in exchange for an honest review.
Well, Gem has done it again with another fantastic western. The chemistry between Cyrus and Eleanor is electrifying making it a definite must read!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
