Oracle: Fire Island picks up where the first book left off. Ret, and his family/friends just got back from there journey to the Sunken Earth where they retrieved the first element; earth. The Oracle is still missing five remaining elements and must be completed to save the world. Ret and his gang must now set out once again to try to find which element is next and where it can be found. He is now having to rely on his friends for guidance but becomes overly worried about what is to come. Many ne ...more

I was excited to jump back into the Oracle series with Ret and his friends. These books just appeal to my Science side and I am amazed at how C.W. Trisef can make the unreal make sense. I was awed by it in the first book and wasn’t let down in this book either.
This book picks up where the last book leaves off and rather than just jumping onto the next thing, it does a good job of wrapping up the last adventure. It’s not one of those instances where you wonder how nobody noticed this World alter

Ret and the gang are back in action and the story is heating up! In the second book of the Oracle series, Fire Island, C.W. Trisef introduces new characters and an even more daunting task involving the next element to be collected for the oracle. The first book in the series, Sunken Earth, was a great beginning; a wild and intriguing way to discover Ret’s super-human abilities. Fire Island is written in a familiar style, with crazy antics and flamboyant characters, but even more witty dialogue a ...more

Trisef takes Ret's adventure up a couple notches with this next book in the series. Ret goes through a lot of character development in this second book and begins to learn a lot more about his powers and how exactly they work. Definitely a great sequel to Sunken Earth that keeps you interested and engaged until the end.

The Oracle

I really enjoyed this book! The characters really devolved. In my opinion it was better then the first on e. I recommend this book for ages 9-14. I started reading the series because the author came to my school and presented it. I'm happy that I read it and I think if you are into fantasy or fiction books it's for you!

This was a great sequel to the first book. I really enjoyed where the plot is going and all the action. I think this would make a great movie or tv series... Just sayin :)

Great book

It's fun and captivating. I just wish since my middle school kids were reading it didn't include such a high school romance.
