Fascinerende verhalen. Dit boek, of eigenlijk deze delen van drie boeken is/ zijn een must read voor iedereen die zijn literaire horizon wil verbreden.

Amazing find. I found this cheap in a second-hand bookstore & out of a strange morning hunger a few weeks later, picked it off my shelf at 5am to flick through. I read the whole thing that day without putting it down. It is a great introduction to Chinese literature. 'Romance of the Three Kingdoms' is amazing, as is the (comparatively more famous in the West, I'd imagine) tale of Monkey & friends in 'Journey To the West'.
