This is a very informative book on whales and it highlights the characteristics of all different types of whales. After pointing out the differences, it allows students to try and distinguish between the different whales. This book is pretty challenging so I believe that it is geared more towards 3rd-5th graders.

This book begins by comparing fishes and whales. It gives a lot of information about whales such as their dorsal size, their sprouts, and how different whales look. This book is good for studying living creatures under water.

This book is excellent when explaining the different types of whales species. It also explains the difference between a fish and a mammal.
