I didn't care for the main characters and the story seemed to lack content. The description on the back of this book is horrible. Elspeth is going to marry someone, but meets Nail who is a recluse and they fall in love. She learns that her home in Scotland was slowly being destroyed by her evil father and former fiance. (eyes rolling)
Wasn't bad, but was too slow in places and shedding about 100 pages would have picked up the momemtum for me. ;-)
