This caught one my childrens' eyes at their school carnival. She was eager and excited to learn about each of the questions posted on the cover. The pictures are intuitive and support the explanations, but a little too many words for her taste. Its a great first "Science" book for small kids though.

I think Richard Scarry's Busytown books are more her style right now
