College roommates Greg and Keith are polar opposites when it comes to relationships. Greg equates sex with the alcohol and drugs he gave up, while Keith protects his heart by keeping sex strictly casual. At first, neither Greg nor Keith realizes the other is gay, but once they get to know each other better, they feel drawn together, and their developing attraction makes ea ...more

4,5 * Accidental Fall.... Well that was one fine little read.
The beginning is great so I'm right into this book.

Greg and Keith... Both young and already lived a life.
Both hesitant to start a relationship therefore sex is for both an issue, but with complete different reasons.
Greg struggles with addictions and Keith is protecting his heart.
They both have triggers.... and.....they live in the same room.

Keith is trying to seduce Greg for another of his one (or two) night stand.

This one was cute, short and sweet, but if you've read the blurb, you've pretty much read the story, as there aren't many unexpected twists or turns.

I did enjoy this one; however, 57 pages isn't quite long enough to cover much ground, other than the main points mentioned in the book's description.

And I wanted more.

I adored the "first date" scene, plus the sexiness that ensued back at their room was pretty hot, if not a bit abbreviated. I would have liked more pages of slow burn feelings devel
3.5 stars. "Accidental Fall" is a brief story about two college roommates, sophomores Greg and Keith. They each deal with sex and relationships in a different way - Keith keeps his sex life strictly separate from his school life, partying on the weekends and studying hard during the week. Greg avoids sex altogether because he fears it will be a trigger that returns him to the drugs and partying that left him in bad shape, as he says "like a few steps away from rehab bad."

First of all, I never read the first edition so I wouldn’t know if anything changed. I guess there isn’t because it rarely happens.

Greg and Keith were in a different ‘place’ in their lives … Greg was trying to clean-up his act at his new school after being involved with a lot of drinking, smoking, partying, and sex previously. While Keith was enjoying casual sex with others, even if he tried to separate his body and his heart. At first Keith wanted to be friends-with-benefits with Greg,

Greg has been sharing a room with Keith at College for a while now. They move in different circles and all Greg really knows about his room-mate is that he's a hard worker who loves old films and spends his weekends out partying hard. When Greg arrives home slightly later than usual, it jolts the pair out of their routine and they begin to become friends. However, when it looks like Keith wants to deepen that friendship, Greg is unhappy. He's put a lot of energy into cleaning up his act and he d ...more

This was a uber slow burn for this amount of pages. You would think it would be a full length novel with the pacing of the story. Both characters have their backstory and it's pretty good for the length. I was a little conflicted about "why now?" What was so special about now, that they decided to act on their feelings for one another. Initially I got passed that. Greg has all these reservations about Keith. He notices things like him partying only on the weekends. I didn't see an issue with it. ...more

This story was as much fun to read as the first time. The two men, Greg and Keith, each have their own personal rationale for not wanting to fall in love - ever, and especially not with their roommate. Their reasons are very different but both men have a valid position. I thought the battle they fight against themselves, their preconceived ideas, and their pasts were valiant, if totally misplaced. Thank God love is stronger than all that, or nobody would ever find a partner.

Greg has done it all

3.5 stars. Good short m/m romance about two college roommates, one who's sworn off sex and the other who spends his weekends having anonymous sex with guys he picks up at clubs... and then he realizes how attractive his roommate is.

The blurb here pretty much gives you the set-up. Greg has transferred to Chicago to go to school because he was basically going down a very bad path, as he describes it, about two steps from re-hab, when some tough love on his mother’s part set him straight. He likes his roommate Keith well enough, not that he knows him really, but he knows Keith spends every weekend drinking and having sex, something Greg is determined to stay away from now h

A sweet and sexy story about young love: Greg and Keith are college roommates; they don’t know each other very well, they don’t even know to being both gay. What Greg knows is that Keith behaves like a good boy during the week, to then enjoy his weekends in a midst of sex and alcohol. Greg is not a saint, but he is in self-imposed rehabilitation: after a late teens and beginning of college in which Greg drunk too much and rebelled to his family, he took the decision to change city and degree, an ...more

In a word: Read the thing. This is a cute roommates-to-lovers story (oh my god, they were ROOMMATES) that I think missed out on so much (maybe unnecessary) angst just because of its shorter length. Greg and Keith are roommates in college, and have been for about a few months, I gather. They aren’t in the same classes and don’t really run in the same circles, and so don’t really spend all that much time together or know each other very well. All Greg knows about Keith is that he disappears every ...more

Ok, so… this is the first book I’ve read by this author and it took me a little bit to get into it at first; dunno if it was my mood or what but it just didn’t grab me. I’m glad I stuck it out though, if you like college age romances, then you’ll like this one!

3.5 Stars ~ Accidental Fall is a sweet and quick story with a very little angst. The blurb pretty much captures what the book is about, and there weren’t really any unexpected twists or surprises to be found. This was a mostly charming story, though I will admit I am sucker for angst, and I would perhaps have preferred a tad bit more of the drama. Though I acknowledge fifty-seven pages doesn’t leave much time to accomplish an in-depth plot or a lot of character development. What the story provid ...more

There is some books out there that when you are done reading them that you find yourself just smiling, well this is one of them for me. I really enjoyed this book.

Greg in my opinion is very scared. He is scared to live again because he is scared he will revert back to the ways that he used to be with sex, partying, and drugs. So he has pretty much shut himself up to hopefully prevent it from happening again. His life revolves basically around school and nothing else because of his fear. Basical

College roommates Greg and Keith appear to be complete opposites. Greg is a reformed partier and Keith spends his weekends partying. Greg gave up drugs, alcohol and sex and decides he needs to try to get to know his roommate and offer him some support to stop him from taking the path Greg took. Keith didn't really notice his roommate, he was too busy with school and sex on the weekends. When Greg decides to friend K

After going off the rails his freshman year of college, Greg transfers to a new school in a new state. He cleans up his act, no more drinking or drugs and if he is going to have sex it's going to have to be meaningful, no more casual hook-ups. Greg's roommate, Keith, is everything Greg used to be. He spends his weekends out clubbing and picking up random guys to sleep with. When Keith discovers Greg is al

While Keith and Greg seem like total opposites, they actually have a few things in common. They're both college students, they're both gay and they both have a troubled past they are trying to put behind them... they both just want to move on. If they paid enough attention to each other, they'd know the pull to one another, the attraction is mutual as well. When Keith finally figures out Greg is gay, he lays the seduction technique on pretty thick. Will his charm pull Greg in? Or drive him away? ...more

I think 4 stars may be generous, but since I read all of the Hot College Daze novellas in a row and I enjoyed the group of novellas as a whole, it was at times hard to review the individual novellas as standalone books. This was not my favorite book in this collection, but I enjoyed it. Greg and Keith are college roommates but they don't really know each other. All Greg knows is that Keith takes off every weekend and comes back reeking of smoke, alcohol, and sex. When they both discover that the ...more

Greg suffers from addiction. He’s fought hard to better himself and refuses to allow himself to slip back into the darkness. One thing he steers clear from is sex.

Keith is a by the book guy during the weekday. He goes to class, dresses nice, is an all-around sweetheart. On the weekend he goes on the prowl and pretty much is all about the one night stands. Everything Greg wants t

This is a sweet story about college room mates. Both have had some difficulty growing up - for vastly different reasons. Greg went wild his first year of college and he's now on the straight and narrow - no drugs, no drinking, no sex. Keith compartmentalizes his life - school during the week, fun with no strings on the weekend. Until Keith thinks maybe he'd like to have Greg - at least in his bed. But it's not a game and they could both get hurt.

Nicely done!
