This is a great book to read. It is about two different groups (who don't know each other and don't know that the other group is doing the same thing) who are going out to prove that dinosaurs are still living.

I am going to call them into 2 different groups since they are indeed that.

The first group is about Stephan Gregory and others, who has lost his job and his reputation due to the fact that he shows slides about how dinosaur tracks and human tracks are intertwined into a fossil. Many do no

The Title is Behemoth. Jonathan C. Leicht is the author.

It's Creation vs Evolution. In a famous game preserve in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, some of the Park’s animals turn up dead - killed in a fashion that doesn’t make sense to Jim, the Park Ranger. The story is Jim’s quest to find the animal that did the killing; at the same time, another group is separately tracking the possibility of surviving dinosaurs as well.

Like Randy Jackson on American Idol might say, “Dude, it was just OK for me.

I read this book because I have always liked the idea of monsters, be they dinosaurs or other science fiction creatures, roaming the earth in some distant land or dark urban environment. I guess I have always been hooked on those black and white creature features and B movies. I also love The Lost World and have read it several times. This story seemed to fit right in that general mix and so I bought the Kindle version. I enjoyed this book even though I understand the low star reviews it got on ...more

Two different groups of scientists end up on the search of a lifetime, looking for elusive creatures that would totally change the creation vs. evolution debate. Without knowing the other team exists, each group experiences the splendor and danger of Africa's wild side in the hunt for these animals.

I happen to agree with the author's creationist worldview, and I learned a lot about the arguments in each camp from this story. However, the book would probably have been half as many pages if the m

I read it in less than 2 days. It was very difficult to put down. I attribute that to the story line and my personal interest in it, as I must confess I did not think it was very well-written as a novel.

The premise of the story is that there are dinosaurs still living hidden in the Congo basin of Africa. Two separate groups begin hunting for 2 different species at around the same time. One group is made up of Game Reserve Rangers looking for whatever is killing elephants and Cape Buffalo. The o

Jim Thompson has a problem. Something is killing the elephants on his game reserve in Kenya. He makes a cast of the animal’s tracks and after having them examined by an expert finds they are the prints of a creature thought to be long extinct. Natives have long reported having seen a beast resembling a member of the triceratops family roaming through their lands. Jim soon embarks on an adventure of a lifetime trying to locate the mysterious animal.

Nessie fans would love this book as it delves in

Large animals are being gored to death on a game reserve in Kenya. The evidence left behind points to a mysterious predator that dates back to the days of dinosaurs. Now, Jim Thompson, the game warden, and his staff must find this deadly predator and stop it from killing any other animals, or any of the people who visit the park. What will be the outcome of following the trail of the "Behemoth"?

There are others who are interested in hunting the dinosaurs natives speak about. Stephen Gregory was
