You think she's acting like 25? To me it's more like 15. I mean, spit balls? Come on, the last time I did that, I was thirteen.
The first time it was mentioned she was 40, I was shocked. I was sure it was a mistake, but no. She really is.
This was just one of many things in the book, that didn't really make sense. That Lucien was a jerk didn't help either. But what can you expect from an 800+ years old guy who is attracted to a perpetual teenager?(less)

It has been a while since I read a vampire story, but 'Until the Sun Falls from the Sky' was just what I needed. This story puts a different spin on the "vampire and human fall in love" trope. This one took a little time to warm up to, but in the end it was well worth it.

In Kristen Ashley's 'The Three' series, human and supernatural beings have coexisted for centuries. A war fought centuries earlier resulted in some rules to keep vampires in check and to keep both species alive. This has helped

So Kristen Ashley can write paranormal too! Not that I ever doubted her. A different take than what you normally think of when you hear about ‘vampires’. Lucien isn't your typical vampire. And Leah... well, she's not the typical concubine.

I'm exhausted and still trying to come to terms with the fact I did not like this book like I thought I would. While I'll admit the last 30% somewhat redeemed this story and hero for me, it was not enough to make it one of my favorite Kristen Ashley books.

Since so much has already been said about this story, Lisa P's review was spot on and not only captured my emotions and feeling about this book but about the heroine as well. Sure, at times she was immature, but considering th
UniquelyMoi ~ BlithelyBookish

Fans of the paranormal romance genre are painfully aware that vampires have been done to death, and it’s hard to find a unique take on their world. They’re always immortal, tormented, domineering, powerful man-whores, and hey, some are even sparkly vegetarians… but the bottom line - they’re always the same and that gets old. Fortunately Kristen Ashley has created a unique world where vampires were once free to be what and who they are, until they were forced into hiding their true natures. Thank

WARNING! This review contains a lot of quotes from the book. I’ll need them to explain why I felt certain way. I don’t know how spoilery they are (actually I think some of them might be very spoilery). I also should warn you that is very long review. I never highlighted so much is any other book and I need to vent it all out. But if you are sensitive about hero being abusive and consider reading this book, forget about spoilers and read my review anyway!

Celebrating the start of my Christmas jollies with a KA re-read. This is how I party.

I wasn't sure I fancied this series, mainly because I find vampire stories can get a little too complicated with all of the rules and legends vamps have to abide by, but it was a KA and a couple of reviewers mentioned alphas so I decided to go for it.

Here is 85% of this story:
1. Mortal concubine meets Big Bad Master Vampire and refuses him
2. Master Vampire both trumps concubine’s refusal and challenges existing vampire law
3. couple and sex, sex and couple, w/a few intrusions by meddling family members and green-eyed monsters

So, after trudging through that (seriously the longest I’ve ever taken to read a (KA) book in a while(LOL), finally the story lends purpose when the Master Vampire sets precedence for all vampires alike, wheth

I decided to do a reread of this series because it's some of KA's books that I read in my pre Goodreads days so I didn't write a review. Getting through this book is torturous

Reading this gross “romance” as the Epstein sex scandal plays out adds a different perspective.

In the universe this is set in the heroine’s female line has essentially pledged themselves as concubines to vampires for generations. The vampires can marry and have mates, but use the concubines as a life source and sex. OK, so they are mistresses. The upside to being a vampire’s side piece is you get taken care of for the rest of your life and your looks improve from the bloodsuck

When Lucien refers to Leah as Life, I melted into a puddle it was one of the most romantic, most sexiest, most incredible usage of that word I have read.
