Dead Kitties Don't Purr

Rate this book
People who take their shots and do as they're told have nothing to fear. Right? Right.

The Rabies Z epidemic began and ended in Miami this past summer, didn't it? And that guy my daddy saw at the Jacksonville airport last week was just having an epileptic fit. No cause for alarm. Epilepsy always causes an eighteen-hour hazmat shutdown at a major airport.

So while my twin tours to flog her newest album, here I am, Camie Invisible, parked at this nice, safe college—as far as I can get from the infection and still pay in-state tuition. Only now, my studies have become focused on the fascinating Risa Ruiz. And she has eyes for me.

Isn't this the perfect time for the zombies to show up?

This author has given readers an almost alarming glimpse into what a viral pandemic episode could do to a society. Her characters are very real and authentic to life. The book is a part of an entire series involving Lesbians and Zombies told from a diverse array of authors and Ms. Green's offering literally screams to be read. I won't even mention how absolutely blistering her character Risa Ruiz is. Treat yourselves to this one.

This could have been better appreciated if the writing at times weren't confusing. I mean insinuations like the father was dead but found out later he wasn't or that the old lady fought in ww2 as a man but apparently she is a woman etc.
I think it needs further editing

Zombie Fic F/F Best of the Best

I'm not much of a F/F reader, but resisting LGBTQ zombie fic (romance or otherwise) won't ever happen so I gave this beauty a shot. Wow, am I ever glad I did. Just wow. The world-building is exceptional. This is a fully developed and wonderfully detailed slow-burn outbreak story with a romance that builds along with the tension of the growing apocalypse. If you're a LGBTQ reader and a Walking Dead fan, you can't go wrong here. It's simply excellent. Highly rec. Two thumbs way, WAY up!

Another book that pulled me in, forcing me to read it when I was supposed to just format it for release.

I enjoyed the characters Amber created in this book. They're unusual and "real," and I could see them in my head. To me, that's a sign the author did his/her job well. If you enjoy lesbian erotic romance and don't mind some gritty gore on the side, I recommend Dead Kitties Don't Purr. Great title, too, huh? ;-)

I couldn't put this down. Well, I could, but it was very, very difficult. Amber Green hooked me right away and wound me down a path that left me guessing until the very end.

Camie and Risa find themselves love struck and facing zombies. This post-apocalyptic love story comes across as effortless story telling, a testament to the dedication of the author. The concept of the Zombies or Z-Things and their origins is very well thought out and believable. From beginning to the end, I was captured by the story.

I'll be reading this one again.

For an erotic romance book, I was a little bit deceived. I enjoyed the setting in which the book took place. This world was very interesting and intriguing. I usually don't read any zombie apocalypse stories, but this one caught my attention. I wish the story line was more developed instead of using a very fast pace

Well written, excellent world building, but the ending was too abrupt. Probably deserves more than 3 stars, but I had to push myself a little to keep at it. Apocalyptic stuff just isn't my scene.
