A delightful witchy romantic suspense.

Witch Ever Way You Can (Star Stone) is a delightful, fast-paced romantic suspense.
Deborah Blake introduces us to Deirdre Connelly, best selling author and a practicing witch. This spunky heroine uses magic, determination and integrity to counter a deranged billionaire’s attempt to possess the Star Stone.

Deirdre receives an intriguing proposition from billionaire, Stewart Tyler. Dinner with Robert Daniel Addison, TV actor and her longtime crush, in return for

I really liked this book. It was a fast-paced adventure with a surprising hero, an enterprising villain, and a really likeable, down-to-earth heroine.

It starts with an ultra-wealthy man asking Deirdre, a witch with psychic powers, to come to his home to do a spell. The sum of money he waves in front of her convinces her (as does the bait - a date with a hunky movie star), and she is picked up and brought to New York.

Deborah Blake brings a strong, fresh, witty voice to paranormal adventures! Best selling Deirdre Connolly gets a late night call from a billionaire business tycoon who makes her a strange offer: in exchange for a date with a handsome actor, one for whom she cherishes a not-so-secret crush, to meet with him to perform a spell.

Intrigued and cautious, she accepts the offer. The charming actor, Rob Addison is just as charming in person with the added benefit of being protective of her and charmed by

Deborah Blake, my friend and fellow Betty, has self published her first novel! (She's published several non-fiction books on witchcraft through Llewellyn.) I've heard lots of good things about Witch Ever Way You Can-- it won the 2009 Emily "Best of the Best" among other honors-- and I can't wait to read it!

This book was a great read--exciting and funny, and it moved along very well. I immediately resonated with the main character, mainly because of her movie-quoting geekiness, but also because she was a witch--gotta love a book with witchy themes, not to mention a romance tucked in, as well. Plus, I always give kudos to an author who makes ma laugh! I am looking forward to reading her next book.

What a great book. Serious take on witchcraft, some awesome paranormal and Native American magic, and a crazy billionaire who is so messed up he screws up his whole life. Definitely worth the read!!!
