A man wakes from a cryogenic sleep on a strange ship rocketing into deep space. He can't remember who he is or why he's on that ship. When he questions the ship's computer, he finds that the computer, too has amnesia. A further search of the ship yields three other people cryogenically stored and a file that indicates that of the four passengers, three are bounty hunters and one a criminal. The question is, which of the four is the criminal?
