The Sorcerer's Vengeance

Rate this book
Book 4 of the Sorcerer's Path:
Azerick thought he had finally found peace and purpose beyond seeking vengeance against those he held responsible by creating a school of learning, magic, and trades for the less fortunate. That dream came to an end when an assassin tried to murder him in his sleep. Knowing that he will never be free and his friends and students will never be safe until he puts an end to the schemes and machinations of evil and power-hungry men. No man and no army, not even a journey to the very bowels of the abyss will keep him from his vengeance.

It would be a awesome series if he would just stick to one story. He doesn't stay with the main character but goes off everywhere. I really like his books so I just skip whole chapters and the catch back up with the main character. If he needs to tell other stories he needs to write different books for each.

Book 4

Book 4 was a fun read and had errors throughout. There where still sections that where described but where not fully understood. I enjoyed the plot and characters growing more with each book.

The writing is really good, but the ideas end abruptly like the author is trying to roll through all the fantasy clichés in the past decade. This on top of the Harry Potter, and the Assassin's Apprentice, the Hulk World Gladiator, and the Fellowship of the Ring, this book introduced the lonely Dragon, the 7ths circle, and even the white walkers. But each is too short and fails to add depths to the story. I wish it was more stretched out.

Too many cooks in the kitchen.

Many new authors fall into the trap of adding so many perspectives that the main character gets lost in the shuffle. It was still enjoyable, but I found myself skipping chapters as I got bored with the side stories.

Pretty good

Humor, thought and depth of character. While a really enjoyable story, it goes on and on and on....a mistake a lot of authors make. While I will continue reading the series for now because it's kindle unlimited...I would not do so otherwise.

Not a single book moves past the 2 stars mark and yet I completed this series in remarkable time. It either says something about the books or something about me, I am not sure which. But I do know that this is as far as I intend to travel with Azrick. Maybe its the fifth dimension that did it for me. Maybe its Hati. Maybe its just that I am finally tired of reading the biography of a fantasy character. Thank you Brock for proving an exception.

It's true that there's every trope to be found on a fantasy series but it's still an enjoyable read. The adventures of professor Xazerick haha :)

Azerick finally gets a chance to strike back! This is a great installment in the series. We are introduced to several new characters and the larger story sees the greater part of the action, and some villains finally get what they deserve. Azerick continues to evolve and finally is allowed to win for a change.

Not only is there great character development there's also plenty of action, humor, and emotional moments to keep you riveted. So, if you haven't read the Sorcerer's Path series then give yourself a treat and do so. The Sorcerer's Vengeance Picks up were thw last ended and tella a great story. You will not be disappointed. Great Reading Everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This series is frustrating I got through the fourth part now and I'll probably read the rest but it still has lots of issues. Some of them from previous books were resolved but definitely not all. Also it seems like the author plans to stuff every single fantasy trope into this series.
I still maintain hope it will get better...

The development of the lead character is enough to keep you glued to the pages.
