It's cute, but the light up turtle on our copy didn't work so it lost some of the effect.

This has been my 7 month old daughter’s favourite book for months! She loves it.

My Review: I got this one for Munchkin because it had a cute light up turtle on it. Unfortunately this book doesn't make much sense with out the actual light up turtle toy. It is a cute how the turtle goes every where with the little boy and shows his love and joy with glowing but it will be hard to explain why Munchkin's toys don't show like that without the turtle.

My husband found this book and it is almost perfect for our little one as he has a turtle attached to a pacifier that he takes everywhere - just like in this story! Benji was especially enthralled with the light-up turtle in the corner and kept trying to push it on and off. The story itself was lovely, following a boy and his (larger night-light) turtle on their daily adventures, and the illustrations were cute.

I wanted to dislike this for being a product tie-in, but it's charming, and there aren't many books featuring a little boy and his turtle, so I'm glad to have found this. Trouble sleeps with this at the foot of his bed--we read it every night--and an entire family of turtles up next to his pillow.
