Sometimes it is the little things which matter most even in a story about a big woman.

The author does a good job of describing a sexual encounter, but what makes it matter to us is that he has given us a couple of characters we can care about and drawn us into their lives.

They say that "hunger is the best sauce" and, likewise, loneliness can be an aphrodisiac. Clearly this is true for the female character, Cassie. But what of our hero - Simon Raver? He has a hunger for sex with well-rounded wome

Michael C. Laney is a near lifelong resident of Central Florida, also having lived several years in Northwest Missouri, and he writes stories that are mainly set in both these regions.
