A story about two best friends, a bear and a rabbit. They do every thing together as best friends do, until the long winter comes and the bear must hibernate. Yet best friends do persevere.

Blossom and Boo is a charming picture book intended for children ages 3-5.

The story starts off with two best friends, a bear cub and a baby bunny going on adventures together and helping each other overcome troubles. Boo, the bear cub, eventually has to hibernate for winter. The book ends with them walking off to enjoy their favorite things together in the spring.

I rate this book 5 stars as it ties together themes of friendship quite nicely. Its illustrations were very cute and covered each page with a lot of detail and design. This is a very colorful book perfect for its intended age group. It teaches kids that even though friends might have to be apart for a while, they can still be best friends. It also shows kids that helping each other out is a good thing and a big part of friendship. It only has two characters, a bear cub named Boo and a baby bunny named Blossom, though they don't have much depth or character development you can tell they both care about each other very much. I think this book would be appealing to children, as its main characters are also children who are relatable. This would be a great book to read during a story time in kindergarten.

This is an ADORABLE book about two best friends who are different in the way they live. For example, it's a bear and a rabbit, and the bear goes into hibernation in the winter. The book goes through all the seasons and how the rabbit misses the bear a lot during the winter season. It's a wonderful story that shoes their friendship and how the rabbit deals with the bear being gone for winter. I love the moon part. That's precious. I also really love the illustrations. The color palette is sweet and the pictures are just so flippin cute!!

I read this to my students grades Pre-K to 1. They loved the story. It was also very interesting that they were concerned about characters going into the woods to play. They said that the wolf or other animals would get them. This story gave a very different view of the woods and what an adventure could be. Great story about friendship and community. How to calm and reassure each other. Nice illustrations. This could be for LAL teachers looking for ways to introduce "Spl" words. I will also use this book to segue into hibernation and fiction versus non-fiction.
