Appropriately, Oquendo de Amat abandoned poetry for the cause of global communist revolution, and we are left with this, his only collection of poetry, a glistening object-in-the-world that even after nearly 100 years feels new.

Great 1925/1927 book. The UDP bilingual edition makes the text accesible for a wider audience. A must-read if you're into poetry, avant-garde poetry and Latin American poetry.

Es un libro precioso. Una larga página que habla de desdoblarse, de películas, de lunas y de muchachas, de recuerdos y la infancia; expresa un lirismo lúdico y encantador, casi que una aventura de otro siglo cuando la búsqueda del libro era abrir las puertas de la imaginación no sólo en la mente, pero en el objeto, lo tangible. Me gustó mucho, un lindo acompañante para iniciar las lecturas de este año.

will write when done reading--though in the note for description gives some idea--i love this book so far as i have read--also the omar careres as far as have read in that--
