Unstoppable is the sort of book that’s hard to review. It’s tempting to just say, “You really need to go read this book,” and leave it at that, trusting the book to speak for itself. But of course, the point of a review is to encourage the reader to try the book in the first place, and after that, it’s always up to the story.

The trouble I have with many non-fiction inspirational books is their tendency to offer formulas or blueprints for how to succeed. And if you disagree with one point, or one

I love reading stories about overcoming adversity.

And that is exactly what Nick Vujicic has done. Born without any arms and legs, Nick could be expected to give up, overwhelmed by the difficulties of life facing someone with such disabilities.

Nick did no such thing.

In Unstoppable, Nick describes the power of faith and how it has enabled him to do things he, or anyone else, ever thought possible.

In the book, Vujicic talks about his struggles, from being bullied to thoughts of suicide. he talks a

"It you believe you can change your life for the better or make a positive mark in your town or you state or your world, act upon those beliefs."

I first discovered Nick Vujicic through friends on facebook. Love his encouraging posts and 'can do' attitude of faith, grace, love, and appreciation for all that God has allowed in and through his life - both the tragic and the triumphant. Romans 8:28, oh yeah! On my worst bad day, I think about all that Nick has overcome, by leaps and bounds no less,

I don't really know how to write a review! I mean...I loved it!

So sincere, so truthful, so clear so smart!
Faith is the subject of course!!! Anything more true than this?!

It was better than "Life without limits" though I suggest you read that before unstoppable.

When I can't write a goid review it does mean only one thing which is: Becoz it made me speechless!

Learn from it by heart...if you read it.

Nick Vujicic is a speaker. He speaks to thousands of listeners, reaching their souls, and touching hearts enchained by pain and rejection. He's a writer. His books inspire and embolden believers and non-believers to live a radical life. He's an advocate. He fights for equality, kindness, and compassion. He was born without limbs, but that hasn't deterred him from doing the impossible.

Nick Vujicic is unstoppable. He never lets his physical limitations get in the way of living. He doesn't pursue

I would give 5 stars to the person and life of the author of this story, and to his parents for keeping their faith in God and raising their son to know he was created for a purpose by Him. Everything that this man overcame and all he seeks to do with his life are inspiring considering his physical limitations of no arms or legs. That said, I did not like the writing style of this particular book. I felt like he was preaching at me, and although his words were no doubt from the heart and wise, t ...more

There is no question that Nick Vujicic is inspirational. He has overcome some incredible odds and has lived a fantastically interesting life. I've seen several videos of his speeches and lectures and thought I would have gobbled this book up. I was convinced I'd be flooded with emotion while flipping the pages.... but I wasn't.

I was actually bored. Terribly bored.

There are those people who absolutely crave self-help types of books and those who dread them. I'm somewhere in the middle. This one

This book is based on Nick Vujicic life to show how this man with no arms and no legs but still goes through every day with a smile on his face. He always gives inspirational speeches and talks about how God has worked through his life and how He has helped him through the small things in life. In one of this parts in the book, it is him talking about how after his speeches people would come to talk to him and take pictures with him. Also, they would talk about things they have been going throug ...more

Building upon the best-selling success of his first book, Life Without Limits, Nick Vujicic-an internationally-known motivational speaker and evangelist- returns with Unstoppable - The Incredible Power of Faith in Action. And let's be honest: who doesn't want to surf the waves, almost naked with icy mountains in sight and a smile on your face? Even without arms & legs, because, according to Vujicic everyone can experience the released powers from above. Yes, a lot of self-affirmation, positive l ...more

Any word or rather any thought which pushes you to think and reflect on how you can improve your quality of life usually strikes a deep chord with me. This book was no different. Yet the tone of the book didn't really go down well with me. Having read the first book by Nick was what had prompted me to pick this one up - and I was slightly disappointed. The tone of the book is rather pompous and preachy which often made me overlook the message which Nick was trying to highlight. I have still give ...more

This book is very simple, but I bought it after I read it to give to my friends to read. Our current generation of Christians, at least those that surround me now, are constantly struggling with depression, fear, uncertainty, problems in their spiritual life. The number of prayer request for improvement in the relationships with God outnumber the requests for wisdom on how to serve this world.
And this book heals from depression, because you look into the life of a person who is strong and happy

This story is so sweet and faithful. Nick's faith is so amazing. I loved reading his story about meeting Kanae and trusting always that God was going to fulfilled desires for a family. His writing is so encouraging. It's definitely a spiritual gift The Lord has given him. It's a brilliant book on faith too. His life is a great testament to that.

Had hard time getting through this. Way too preachy for my liking. He may be a great public speaker but the book did not grab me in the least.

Nick Vujicic sold millions of copies of his books encouraging people to have an optimistic outlook on everything. Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action is an inspirational book about dealing with the negative portions of life. Providing guidance for fighting against personal crises, self-destructive thoughts, health/disability concerns, bullying and more. So I have seen Nick Vujicic in person and he was phenomenal to listen to! His message rang out and touched the lives of everyone listening! I expected his books to be just as impact-ful...and they are! This is my first book I've read from him and it was just inspiring. I got emotional over how Nick could accomplish so much! The story on how he met his wife was just adorable! I love how he shares the downfalls and struggles in his life and how he was able to overcome. He also uses other names, st ...more

Unstoppable is the second book written by Nick Vujicic, founder of Life Without Limbs. Nick Vujicic is a motivational speaker who was born without arms or legs. When he was first born, like many parents they didn’t understand why their son had been born without any limbs. But despite what the world would declare that Nick wouldn’t be able to do, he is doing! He has learned to surf, skateboard, and swim. His life wasn’t without pain and many fears controlled his negative thoughts. He strongly bel ...more

This book consists of different life stories that Nick has to share to everybody. His motivation to write this book is to inspire those who are struggling in life, or just for those who are thinking of having a better life. This book is laid out in a few different sections, each section focusing on a different point in either his life, or instructions/guidance’s on how to live life better. Nick is very religious being an evangelist, he emphasizes on the messages of God or his ideas of why human

Initially I wanted to read the book, because I was really interested in Nick’s life. I was so inspired by the impact of his life and conferences around the globe. Last september he was in Mexico and his speech was broadcasted in TV.

The main topic of the book is about the “power of faith in action”, going beyond our limits, physical or mental. And put into action our words or our beliefs. Nick’s faith is well presented on each chapter, you can easily feel how he hon

Book Review: Unstoppable: The Incredible Power of Faith in Action by Nick Vujicic: True Soulful Inspiration

Nick Vujicic is a well known speaker and whenever he speaks in front of his more than thousands of audience, he has touched their soul and heart deeply thereby bringing a big impact in their life. His books on the same track have been able to motivate and inspire his readers. By profession Nick Vujicic is an advocate and his main focus in that field i

Our thoughts: Nick Vujicic’s story is inspiring. He presents the story of his life in an easy to read format that is engaging and thought provoking. It is amazing to see his determination to not allow physical limitations define who he is. He consistently looks to God for wisdom and direction. His faith that God makes no mistakes is clearly presented as a source of strength and encouragement to try new areas and to influence others.

He chronicles events in his life candidly and presents both the

I have heard a lot about Nick Vujicic over the past two years. I have seen a couple amazing and inspiring interviews with him and was excited about getting to read his book.

I have to say that I was disappointed in this book. Nick Vujicic is such a dynamic speaker, the book fell short of his style. He touched on many topics in the book, but didn’t seem to have a common thread to pull them together. At times it read like a personal narrative, at others like a inspirational book, and yet others a c

I love Nick Vujicic and find his story incredibly inspirational, so I was eager to read his new book, Unstoppable. I finally got the chance when it was released in paperback (I was given a complementary copy by Waterbrook Press in exchange for this honest review). In Unstoppable Nick addresses many issues of our day. The back cover of the book lists: “personal crises; relationship issues; career and job changes; health and disability concerns; self-destructive thoughts, emotions, and addictions; ...more

I first heard Nick Vujicic's story when I watched his DVD, No Arms, No Legs, No Worries. His testimony, perseverance and faith blew me away. It touched me. Here's a man that most would say has the worst deal in the world, and yet look how he shines for Jesus. And he shines for Him because he walked through all the darkest times and chose to cling to Jesus as his savior rather than curse Him. He made me look at my life, my walk, and my testimony in a new light and examine my path with a new persp ...more

After reading Nick Vujicic’s first book, Life Without Limits, I was excited to see if he could possibly add anything to it. His first book was full of encouragement and told of many challenges throughout his astonishing life. It is a remarkable read and I wondered if he could match it. He did.

Unstoppable continues with amazing first-person stories about Nick, including how he met and won his beautiful new wife. It includes lovely color photos. In addition to his own tales, much of this book also

Nick Vujicic, a young evangelist and world-wide motivational speaker’s new release “Unstoppable,” arrives in book stores October 2nd. In his second book Nick shares how he combined action with the “power of faith,” for what he says is a “ridiculously good life, despite his disabilities.”

However, it wasn’t always like that for Nick. As a young boy he felt so alone, devastated and without purpose he entertained thoughts of suicide. He thought no one else “hurt like he did…faced such insurmountable

Nick's first book, Life Without Limits, is my all time favorite inspirational book. This leads my interest to another book of his, Unstoppable. As I'm an atheist, I felt a bit uncomfortable since almost every paragraph of the book mentions the word God, God's help, pray for God, etc. Duh! Can a human do something without praying? I know the author is Christian, but since he's an author, he should have adjusted the meanings of his inspirational language more worldwide, or I can say religionless, ...more

As much as I admire and respect Nick for the way he has led his life, I had to give up on this book. I didn't like his style of writing, his humor etc just doesn't come through on the page the way it does in his speeches. I also felt like I was being preached to a little more than I am comfortable. I think I was expecting a little more about overcoming adversity and how he did that but it was more like a repeating of "Have faith" over and over. I have faith but also feel we have personal respons ...more

That's a great book. It is really inspiring and the ideas are great. It gives a real get up and go. In some parts I felt like the author is talking to me in person and this is the best part of the book.

Just one minor point. I was reading Russian translation of it and it had some mistakes which I could see (oh overparticular me, slap me in my face, please).
