This is the first Twilight fanfic I’ve read since somewhere around 2012 or so and I was shocked at how well it was written. The author played with the magic of Stephanie Meyers world in much more expansive and intuitive way. She keeps everyone true to their characterization in the original novels, but makes it ALL make sense by exploring deeper. There was a horrifically gory scene about halfway through that was WELL deserved and so satisfying. The explorations of their special talents and layering of each persons personalities on top of it was incredible. I much prefer this version of the twilight world.

I really really enjoyed this Twilight fic! Numerous things are way better than the original, and the modifications to characters blend well with the pairings and plot. I'll definitely read more from BWB!

Honestly, I loved this book. I love the direction it takes. As with any book, there's a smidge I personally would change, but overall I did love it. I even read it twice.
