I've read a lot of CBT books during the last eighteen months and honestly, this one has to be the best so far. It's written in an open and friendly manner which makes it feel accessible and less daunting a task to read through it, and packed with useful information and helpful exercises. To me it really did feel like having a professional CBT practitioner in a book.

CBT is a good way to clear up the way you think about yourself. It is like selecting the background music to a movie - it sets the whole tone of how actions are interpreted.

Bardzo dobra książka dla kogoś kto nie może albo nie chce udać się do psychoterapeuty - generalnie podobnie jak w mojej psychoterapii, więc jeśli ktoś jest zdyscyplinowany to być może książka mu wystarczy :) Ja już przeczytałem tylko z ciekawości, ale fajnie było porównać to co się samemu praktykowało z treścią książki. Zagadnienia są różne: lęk, depresja, negatywne myśli, złość - zależy kto z czym ma problem.

Książka bardziej dla zwykłych ludzi niż dla specjalistów wyjaśniająca, czym jest terapia behawioralna i do leczenie czego można ją stosować.
