This book is amazing you should expect the unexpected. This book catches your breath. I am eager till the next one comes out. This book might seem a bit dull at first but once you past the first 50 pages you are hooked. While I was on vacation I sat on a lounge chair and read 200 pages I did this instead of going into the Atlantic Ocean. This was a very interesting book for me as I have to admit to not knowing how I felt about it for the first half of the story. The story tell the journey of four young teens, mostly from Natasha's POV, as they meet up with their perspective family member in the deserts of Iraq. This was my first time reading this author, and I enjoyed her writing a lot. It definitely won't be my last.

Natasha and Alex are very excited to visit their mother on her archaeologist dig site. They are ready to get away from their father and his new girlfriend, and get to spend some time with their mother on a school holiday.
