Josh and Robin's story was awesome!!

Their love and devotion for each other was a beautiful thing to see evolve. I will admit that it was hard to read some of the things they went through due to "he who doesn't deserved to be named". Yet, it was a testament to their bond and strength, to see them come through it all and still be who they are, despite everything thrown at them. Their utter lack of verbal communication with each other was nerve wracking, and seemed to be one of their major road bl

I am glad i read this despite the foursome warning. It was actually a pretty sexy scene where no one was used abused or forced into it. I am so glad the boys did not get into prostitution to survive when they were starving and homeless. Robin's kind heart saved them just in time and led them to a home with Uncle Leo.

I love Uncle Leo!He cared for the boys like they were his own and saved them from a life of abuse and degradation.

Robin and Josh are so absolutely sweet and sexy in this book. The reader gets a glimpse into their past and how they ended up with the issues that they are dealing with. The beginning and end of the book were paced a little differently and threw me off a bit, but I still enjoyed reading their story. Like many books where communication is an issue, I had my moments of wanting to strangle the characters, but it didn't detract too much. The music video scenes were so incredibly endearing. Love t

This started promising then took a weird U-turn into group sex which seemed to go against the MCs personalities and how they felt and thought about each other. The scene kind of came out of nowhere and I just didn't feel it was necessary to the development of the plot. It pissed me off and as a result I don’t think I am not reading the 3rd book in the series.
I'm not sure what to say about this. I really liked the beginning, and it wasn't bad but it really didn't work for me. I hate to write a review where things aren't working for me, but I'm just gonna highlight the few things that brought this down for me.
1. Voice--there were times when Josh and Robin seemed basically the same. (view spoiler)
2. The bro thing(view spoiler)

I think I have a new appreciation for BDSM! Loved this story, loved the foursome, soooo loved Josh. My only problem with this story was that the editing could have been a lot better. There were so many spelling mistakes, missing words and even shifts in tense. I'm disappointed that the MLR line editor didn't catch those. Didn't take away from my enjoyment of the story though. I'm very lucky that Dusty's story is already out and I have it on my Kindle. Now, excuse me, I've got some reading to do ...more
I can’t believe I would ever say that but there was way too much sex scenes in this book and it was not believable at all. Give the guys some break time!

I could clearly see that the author is a fangirl, just by the vocabulary she was using. Yaoicon, seriously?

I liked the beginning of this book, this focus on Robin & Josh, stepbrothers not blood related and musicians in the Dark Angels. Robin mother had pass away when he was young, His stepfather was abusive, and Josh was is security blanket. Th

The second book in the Dark Angels Series and there is a lot to get through! Josh and Robin are commonly referred to as ‘The Twins’ by the press and fans alike. There is also a lot of naughty fan fiction out there about them. Most young men that had been brought up as brothers wouldn’t have a problem with everybody’s fixation on this aspect of their relationship but for Josh and Robin it’s a nightmare. Their parents may have been married but they are not

My copy, provided by the author in exchange for an honest review, is for the second edition from Rocky Ridge Books. Nice presentation, BTW.

This second book in the Dark Angels series is an excellent second look at the band and all its gay members. Josh and Robin showed up in the first book as supporting characters to larger than life Angel and his waffling bisexual love interest Dare. We could see clearly from their brief moments in the first book that there are ISSUES.

A huge theme is “who is fam

After meeting Robin and Josh in With Wings, I was very excited to read and review Tied Together. The first thing I want to mention is how much I enjoy the way the author describes the band’s performances, especially Angel’s introductions to the members. The sexy way he slinked across stage enticing the crowd and the reader.

In the previous book, Robin and Josh were supportive friends, but you could see the chemistry between them. The two have a push and pull relationship. One moment they are in e

I couldn't wait for this book to come out because I just adore the boys of the Dark Angels. And Josh and Robin were no exception. They had a complicated and frustrating relationship because Robin would keep Josh at a distance after every passionate encounter. I really felt sorry for Josh during those moments. But I could also understand Robin's reluctance to give in to his feelings because of fear of losing his "brother" and public reaction to their relationship. But no matter what, there was no ...more

The first Dark Angels book brought us the story of Angel and Darius. The one brings us the story of the "Twins" Josh and Robin.
When Josh was five Robin's mother married his father. They were raised together.
After Robin's mother died Josh's dad got worse with drinking and hitting. They cling together even more to try to survive their home life. Josh's dad found one of Robin's gay erotic novels and kicked them out.
While living on the streets they gave their virginity to each other. Out of money,

Josh and Robin are great together and really just need to communicate more. Still, given their past, the relationship and its roadblocks were not hard to understand. The sex scenes were hot and you can't help but love all the characters. The guys from the band are well described and fun to read about. I really liked reading Robin and Josh's history though I did think perhaps it could have been timed differently. (view spoiler) ...more
This gives you bittersweet and yearning, but doesn't get too heavy. And it has plenty of sexy times, though It's kind of repetitive how the MCs always seem to be done within a minute of getting started and take almost no time for recovery before they are ready to go again. Not that I'm begging for constant hours-long sessions or once a week recovery. Just maybe something that doesn't feel so underdeveloped and unrealistic? Of course, the underdeveloped thing may be deliberate, as the characters ...more

Very sweet story of love that lasts. I thought Robin was a interesting blend of characteristics that fit well with his background. Josh was also a strong character that we actually "see" more of because it's his view. Uncle Leo was just wonderful! The Robin and Josh go through a lot of hardships to get where they are when the story begins. I liked how there was the flashback woven into the story so there wasn't the info dump and the story still made sense and moved along. To me the conflict was ...more

This is the second book in this series. And while I'll admit it wasn't perfect, there is something about these boys that has grabbed me tight and isn't letting go.

The story is very sweet, at times maybe a little too much so. And there is definitely no lack of fact another thing that could probably have been toned down a bit. At times the book reads as if that is all the boys are thinking about and doing.

But then again, on the other hand it works. The connections these guys have; their l

I liked the 1st book in this series. I gave it a 4 star rating. I liked this 2nd installment as well, until I got about halfway through the book. Let's just say that I like my romance novels to include only 2 people in the pairing. I'm not into threesomes, foursomes, or any other group combination. Once I realized where this book was going, I couldn't finish it. Had I known the kind of novel this was, I would not have wasted my money and time reading any of it. But based on the 1st book and the ...more

Very very enjoyable! I loved the relationship between Robin and Josh. Robins shyness and giggles made me smile every time. Getting to see how they got to where they are now made me happy to see that they were always there for each other but on the other hand it made my tummy hurt with all they had to deal with in their young lives.

There was sex sex and lots of sex but it was always something different and I never felt it to be repetitive. The MMMM scene...soooo hott and not at all what I was thi

Whew I have to say Robin was exhausting at the beginning because he ran so hot and cold and I so felt for Josh. To love someone so much but only getting pieces of him has to be hard. I think if I we would have had Robin's pov we could have probably understood where he was coming from more. It was still a very great book and when they were together it was hot:-) I loved Uncle Leo what a treasure and it was seeing the other guys in the band:-)

Another wonderful book! I'm definitely happy to add this series to my bookshelf. You'll absolutely fall in love with Robin. He makes you want to jump into the book and wrap your arms around him to protect him. And Josh, every pain he felt - I felt. Albeit knowing it was a HEA book, I was still on edge the whole time wondering if it was going to work out in Joshs' favor. It was great story line and very well written.
Off to buy the third one! :)

This story was one I was really looking forward to - the twins with their strangely in-tune but dysfunctional relationship; so much potential. Unfortunately, whilst there were bursts that sucked me right in, some of the sex scenes went on for WAY too long, and Robin was just SO soft/pretty/beautiful/needy blah blah blah, that it took me out of the story and I started to get bored :(

The ending was satisfying, but I just can't lift the book out of 'nice' (aka 'I enjoyed it').
I liked this book, but there was also a lot that bothered me. Mostly, things and events concerning Robin. In the previous book he was described as very shy and somewhat insecure. That was not what came across in this book. To me Robin was spoiled, egocentric and not that sympathetic. Josh was the one carrying this book, but he was also the one enabling Robin's behavior.

Sure, the love story was mostly sweet, but not enough to redeem this story from the pits of the low ratings.

The second in the Dark Angels series was a winner for me: a smattering of the charm of 'Heaven Sent' without the annoying features of the 'Conquest' stories (I hated all the lyrics and often tortured dialogue). The main characters, Josh and Robin, are delightful, but Dusty is my favorite character now, so I look forward to him having a story of his own.

I really enjoyed the first book and found this one enjoyable also but took one star off because of the surprise foursome, not something I enjoy reading between established couples. Even though I did understand why the scene was added it still took a bit of pleasure out of their story and took me a bit to get back into it. But overall I did like it and look forward to Dusty's story.

A continuation of the Dark Angels with the *twins* as the lead. No not real twins but close enough. Coming of age. Cumming a lot. Cumming at a birthday party. Needless to say, a whole lot of shaking going on. Best line: Hit the dog.

Read it. You'll cum back for more!
