Lakis Fourouklas (Greek: Λάκης Φουρουκλάς) was born in Zimbabwe to Cypriot parents. He has lived in Cyprus, Greece and Thailand. His short stories, written in Greek, have appeared in various literature e-magazines, as well as in the Greek literary journals "Na ena milo" and "Rogmes" as well as "Exaggelos" of Cyprus.
He has published the short story collections "Aionia Agapimeni" (Eternal Beloved) and "Galani and Lefkios" and the novel "To lathos pathos" (The Wrong Passion) in Cyprus.
In Greece he has published the novels "Mira, to louloudi tou polemou" (Mira, the war flower), "Oi gynaikes tis sygnomis" (The women of forgiveness), and "Angeliki: To imerologio mias pornis" (Angeliki: the diary of a prostitute).
His short story collection "O Agios Potis" (Saint Drunk) came out in 2011. In 2014 he published the novella "I stigmi" (The Moment) and two children's books: "Malaika" and "Pou pige to pi?" (Where did Pi go?) In 2018 a philosophical fairytale "O gyros tou kosmou se mia mana" (Mother is the Centre of the World) came out.
He used to review books and write features for Criminal Element.
