A fascinating insider look at Dale Earnhardt Jr's 2001 season. It started tragically, losing his father, Earnhardt Sr, on a last-lap crash in the Daytona 500, and included three wins for Junior in the Winston Cup Series, including a memorable triumph in the night race at Daytona, the first event there since Earnhardt's death. Dale Jr's publicist, Jade Gurss, kept very detailed notes throughout the tumultuous year, and this is the result. A very interesting read, documenting a tremendously turbulent season.

This book gave me a great visual of what it is like to be a NASCAR driver. I learned a lot about other facets of Dale Jr's personality. A good read for any race fan.
