A Taste Of Christmas

Rate this book
"Lord Nabob's Conversion" by Alice Holden

Dinah Monroe will do anything to keep four orphans and their guardian from being turned out before Christmas—even if it means inviting their landlord, the impossible Justin Sinclair, to a cookie-baking celebration in the hopes of changing his mind. But Dinah never expects the glowering lord to be so adept at winning the hearts of the children…or so persistent in pursuing her own…

"The Elusive Bride" by Debbie Raleigh

Amanda Worthington has no intention of marrying wealthy, annoyingly handsome Lord Barclay in order to cancel her selfish father's gambling debt. Her only hope is to delay the wedding long enough to sell her delicious jam cakes, repay the lord in sterling, and be done with him forever. The canny aristocrat has other intentions. And once he uncovers her game, he devises one of his own where the only prize is the lady's willing heart...

"Mince Pie and Mistletoe" by Joy Reed

Ellen Roswell is far too sensible to believe her mother's tradition—that serving mince pie at Christmas brings good fortune—but she is happy to assist in the holiday shopping. While walking through her snowy village, Ellen finds a guinea on the street and begins an adventure in generosity that leads to a mysterious stranger with romance on his mind. And where luck leads, can love be far behind?

This book came to me a swap. I'm pretty compulsive about Xmas stories in the regency period. One of the 3 was pretty bad, the other two very good. Perfect for a long commute home.
