Review originally published on my blog, Nine Pages .

There’s not much to this little board book either, just a few pages and a few sentences in total, but Clifford is a familiar friend. Clifford shares his water. He shares a bench. And then everyone shares with Clifford at a picnic. There’s just not much here to rate. There’s nothing remarkable about this book, really, good or bad. There’s a vague idea of reciprocity: Clifford shares so others share with Clifford, but the book’s real draw is

What are you doing, Clifford?

Why are you manspreading your enormous snout onto that park bench?
How are you going to share your water bowl with those normal sized dogs without dunking them in it or overturning it and flooding the park?
Why is Emily feeding you a chicken bone? Is she convinced that your gargantuan throat will prevent you from choking, or is she tired of sharing your spotlight? Ask yourself these questions before you indulge in that picnic, Clifford.

Great board book illustrating sharing. Each page has a sentence about what Clifford likes to share and the 2 page spread depicts Clifford sharing what was written in text. Great for toddlers and pre-readers. I'll definitely be recommending this title.

It's a short book for young readers about Clifford the Big Red Dog sharing things. What disappointed me was the fact that there was not even an attempt to relay to the reader that they should share as well. Which, quite frankly, I thought should have been the point.

Shelves: sharing
It is a very easy read for young kids. It shows kids that sharing is good and if you share, others will share with you.

My son, almost 3 and 9 mo., who is learning English as a second language learned the word "shares" very quick through this book.
Clifford shares stuff. To be fair, if I was two I would probably really enjoy this book.
