The 3rd book in the Underworlds series. Owen, Dana, Jon, and Sydney have followed Loki into the Babylonian Underworld in an attempt to keep him from gaining control over the Babylonian monsters in his quest to set fire to Midguard (Earth), destroy Odin, and become ruler of Asgard. In order to stop him, they must fight each of the monsters on their way up the tower to get the stones that control them and keep them from Loki. Can four children manage to do what so many heroes have failed? And what ...more

This one was much better. I was afraid with book#2 that I would have to give up the series. Fortunately this was not true. This book had a lot of good action and the story is taking shape quite nicely. Looking forward to book #4

Great book for 4 and up

The book has a great title like the book and great story lines because of the way the writer made the book

This one gets points alone for using Babylonian mythology which is something I find rather rare. Aside from that, it's another quick paced installment, and things are obviously gearing up for the final installment of the series... but it did some address some plot related questions that I kept asking (a bit exasperatedly) to myself since the second one. You should provably read the first two books in the series, but it's not absolutely necessary. I recommend you start with the first book. All of the books in the series are very short; the first three books are less than sixty pages long. The action moves along very quickly, and the whole series can be read like one average-length book. It's a great series for readers who enjoy adventure but don't want to take weeks to finish a book.

Owen, Jon, Sydney, and Dana stow away on Loki's sled as he travels to the Babylonian underworld to recruit soldiers in his quest to take over the world. The friends are in a race to get the Tablets of Destiny before Loki can. Help comes from an unexpected source. Lots of excitement!
