Underwhelmed. The tiny font was frustrating and headache inducing. It also felt like the overwhelming majority of the attractions and restaurants were run of the mill. I didn’t feel like there was anything innovative about how the guidebook was set up or any interesting tidbits. In fact over all I felt like it was a far from comprehensive guidebook. The descriptions were pithy to be sure but I wanted more actual content not witty snark. Wouldn’t pick up another.

This was probably the best travel guide I consulted for Seattle, although I wasn't a huge fan of the layout of info. The one sentence descriptions are honest and often slightly snarky and they feature many places a Fodor's or Frommer's wouldn't.

I was flipping through this in the backseat of a friend's car while bored the other day.

I give it a 5 just for the Seattle Center section, which calls out the Space Needle for being too expensive, and the EMP for also being too expensive and an eyesore.
