My niece demands that I read her this book, in full, as she sits on the potty. I'm counting it towards my reading goal because I've probably read it *at least* a dozen times.

I read this book of stories at least fifty times this year so I think I can count it towards my books read. I have Fred and Ted Go Camping memorized forwards, backwards, and upside down.

One of the best books for children learning how to read.

No complaints about any of these stories. The artwork in all of them is terrific, especially the beautiful "Snow". "Fish Out of Water" wraps itself up a bit too easily, but is still fun to read out loud. "Flap Your Wings" had me laughing out loud the first time I read it. For me, "I'll Teach My Dog 100 Words" was the least of them all, but still good enough to read several times, if forced to. The little boy (almost 4) I babysit loves the two Fred & Ted stories the most, and even likes to reenact them. My one problem with the book is that they are exactly at a 3-4 year-old's level, so when I read them to him prior to his nap, he doesn't settle down and fall asleep because he is so attuned to the stories' pleasures.

All the kids love these snappy, rhyming Dr. Suess-like books. They have a great vocabulary that rhymes in fun ways and colorful bright, exciting pictures. From trying to save the "Fish Out of Water", to teaching your dog 100 words, to going on a camping trip with Fred and Ted, this compilation of stories has an adventure in each one.

I wanted to read A Fish Out of Water because I loved it as a child and I love P.D. Eastman’s artwork. This collection was a good surprise because I discovered more of his stories that I don’t think I’d read before. And as a new adopter of two dogs, I really liked I’ll Teach My Did 100 Words.

Dr. Seuss books are great for learning, since they have such colorful pages, engaging pictures, and rhyme. Kids love them. Having so many Dr. Seuss books in 1 book makes it such a good bedtime book.

This has the cutest collection of stories! Filled with humor and delight, and vintage illustrations from the 1960s-70s, this is a perfect book to read together with your little one! A Fish out of Water and Flap Your Wings are our two favorites out of this fun collection of six beginner books!

My 20 month old loves this book. It is simple, not very many words on a page, and the pictures are easy to follow. A nice beginner reader book that doubles as a good read aloud for littles.
