This was actually a really helpful guide. Most of the tips were spot-on, the visuals were engaging, and the book was written using very accessible language. When I get a dog someday, I plan to adopt an adult from a rescue (mostly because there are reasonable odds of being able to skip the potty-training phase), but if I were planning to get a puppy, I would plan to refer back to this book a lot. Heck, I might still refer back to it to see if I can use some of the training tips on my 13-year-old lhasa apso.
