This is a truly excellent dinosaur book for kids. It is laid out like a proper grown up encyclopedia yet with a layout that appeals and draws the children's eyes and hands to explore the world of dinosaurs. My daughter and I have explored parts and all of this book on many times over the years and I have since bought the other books in the series - animals and world. ...more

This was a nicely set-out book with plenty of information and beautiful illustrations. Perfect for dinosaur lovers of all ages.

Really fascinating. Each dinosaur or other prehistoric creature had one to three paragraphs of information to read about them. Sometimes predictable, and makes you want to study more from a more in-depth source.

My 4 year old son loves this book. I have to read it to him quite often.
