The achievement that drew the dark side of "Midori-san", which was introduced as an opportunistic character that moves the story at first, is great. I was not expecting this. It is a work that never ends a good person as a good person, and constantly seeks out human weakness and sin

This series is called "Goodnight Punpun" in English. I'm reviewing just this volume. Four and a half stars.

We left the protagonist's uncle as he had fled his family home after fucking up somehow. His sweet, caring girlfriend is worrying next to the protagonist and his mother. Turns out the uncle fucked up in the most predictable way, by (view spoiler)

Punpun cresce.

Talk about a heavy dose of reality. This is like a hardcore therapist that tells you all of the things you already knew deep down but you couldn’t bring yourself to admit them. It hurts, it saps the life out of you, but it’s something we all need to hear. It toughens us up and gives us the push we need to learn from our mistakes and move on.

This volume is, in essence, the prequel to the next volume. It sets up more of the tension to make Volume 6's revelations more powerful. The content is fine, nothing spectacular, but there's a bit of a message o hope here, defying the common theme of "bleak, desolate life."

Time goes so fast. After many insurmountable obstacles and infinite depth of unhappiness, Punpun now attended his first year of high school, with its hellishness of puberty facade and what not. Pressed by circumstance surround him and not to mention his own inaptness of life, Punpun felt like a flat tire.
Like I do, reading this book.

Added to my favorite character, here comes Seki and his philosophical journey through good-for-nothing afternoon. At this point I can foretell than everything would
